Bird/Water Bath

The two teen pegasus landed near the river at probably and arguably the same time.They took several deep breaths before Prism yelled:

“I WON”

Star rolled her eyes and jumped into the water, immediately followed by him.They flapped their wings under water a little and, after a while, Prism closed his eyes.

“This is SO much better than a dust bath, Isn't it?”

No response.

“Prism?” She looked back to find asleep and drowning.

“PRISM!”

She got him out and hit him with her wings.

“AUCH! That hurts!”

“You're welcome, Mary Jane!”

“Sorry, Star, thank you”

After a while of silence between them, she broke laughing

“What?”

“Me, of all ponies, saving someone who passed out” She said between giggles “Del would be so proud, y´know”

“Yeah, the poor guy, you´re always passing out on him.Must be annoying”

“Look who's talking”

They got out of the river and sat down beside it watching the sun set down.

“That late already?”

“Time flies”

“Yeah”

After a few minutes of silence, Prism wrapped a wing in Star´s back, making her red and mad again

“What's the big idea?”

“Eh……….Nevermind” He took his wing off of her.

More and more silence until the sun was finally off sight and Prism decided he should talk again.He cleared his troat several times and then:

“Em……………..Star?”

“Yeah?”

“Would you………………..How a…………………..Bout a date?”

Starburst looked at him and groaned, the look on her face able to give Crystal Clarity a run for her jewerly.And then, right there she closed her eyes, leaned in and kissed him full on the lips, leaving him in a shock.

It didn´t took long for them both to pull away the kiss and for Starburst to say:

“Took you so long”

The problem with this next gen side fandom is some people will down vote things just cause they don't like the ship rather than a story just being a piece of shit. I don't read finds that have a lot of down votes cause I just don't have a lot of time. So I wonder if this and many other stories were shit or actually good stories with pissy spaghetti fans who don't like the ship

Next gen always gets sticky because nobody can pull it off well enough to sate a niche. Doesn't matter if it's all head canon or not, people tend to hate OCs for just existing. I think they deserve a chance if they're not Mary Sues. Many a good story will get bypassed because the niche frowns upon original characters and canon ships, and only things where it's a whole AU and the characters are pretty much original in that storyline, a la Fallout: Equestria.

There's a whole universe to explore, with characters that can be inserted easily to tell their own stories, and people hate it. It's like originality only applies when it suits your tastes.

6087154 yeah, I´m not good with shipfics but shit is a big word.I guess this Kilala sub-fandom is more of a mess of ships than the main MLP fandom but I guess that I prefer that than it having 0 attention and 0 ships because of the characters being bad written or something like that.Yeah people don´t read much fics or ships they don´t support/sail but I aint one of them.If you complain about Turquoise or Claire make sure you´re not complaining about Sparity, if you complain about Illusion make sure you´re not complaining about Dislestia, I personally ADORE those characters so I don´t care who their parents are.
I enjoy Bride Of Discord not because Fluttercord is there but because Fluttercord was well-handeled............kinda sorta, I still can´t believe it all happened in just one month
