Even though the revelation didn't come as any surprise, I still liked reading that. I'm all for short and sweet, and this story was both. Even though it doesn't have the "calendar resonance" for me (I'm British, and we had Mother's Day in March) it's still a story I'm glad I took a little time to read, since I thought it made a lovely tribute to your mum. Thumb up? Yep.
