All Skye Swift needed in his life to be happy was his music, his family, and his friends. In fact, he was completely content with his perfectly normal life. However, that didn't stop him from longing for something new to shake things up a bit.
On his 20th birthday during a Wonderbolts show, Skye saves Princess Celestia from an attack on her life by a pony with electrical powers. In the process, he is struck by a massive surge of energy.
After a long recovery at the Canterlot Castle, Skye soon discovers that he now has the power of superspeed. Using a heavily modified Wonderbolts flight suit, he decides use these new found powers for the good of Equestria.
There is just one slight problem, he never expected balancing a double life to be so hard. Especially after he moves to Ponyville and meets six unique mares.
(Rated: Teen for the occasional heated moment and use/reference of alcohol in certain chapters. But besides that, it's quite a clean story.)
This was an amazing start. I'm really digging the chemistry between Soarin and Skye. I couldn't find any grammar or punctuation errors either. (At least none that were obvious to me). Well done.
It promises to be a great story.

Bud, this chapter was awesome. This is one of the better chapters I've read on this site recently. The music you chose went very well with the bar scene. Loved that interaction with Spitfire and Skye at the end.

I make it goal to provide a very detailed and realistic foundation for Skye and other original characters in this story to give them a sense of balance with actual cannon characters. This makes it easy for the reader to not only relate to them, but feel like the OCs are not above other characters or below them.

Also it's just my personal opinion but I think that you should really focus on original characters and places rather than canon characters, I know that the mane 6 are gonna take a place in this fic but I think it would be better if they don't play a major role. It's my opinion but I think that what make this story stand out is that it use original content with good writhing, so focusing on original content would be better.
But as I say, It's my personal opinion. I just think it would be even more unique that way.
