Good story, but every time you refer to them as Filly(insert name here). It just doesn't seem natural. I know the reason for this is to help keep track of evolution - FORESHADOWING!!! - but try calling them something like Filly-Jack, or Filly-Shy. But you know, I'm crazy, so it might not bode well for the home team to listen to me.
