Interesting story so far. I always liked "x falls into hibernation/coma/is petrified/is sent into the future" type stories, and it's always good to see a new one.
I hope the hiatus doesn't end up killing it, and that it continues someday.

Now, as for this story: all things considered, I suppose it's safe to say that it's cancelled. I do have two or three more chapters written out and might as well upload them, but given that I not only lost track of where to go with this whole thing, but also every kind of motivation to write more for it, the chances that it's ever going to be finished are vanishingly low.
Like I said, there's a few more chapters to this story and I might publish them if anyone's interested, but by all means, there's not going to be much more.
Sorry if you were hoping for something a little more, say, cheerful.

First: wow, there's more than two people actively following this story. I honestly didn't expect that.
Second: Exactly my thoughts while re-reading this last week. This whole thing has been written out almost two years ago, so it's neither written in my current style, nor is it what I would consider to be a good story anymore.
I'll upload the next (and last) chapter shortly, after that I'm pretty sure I'll put this thing out to pasture for the time being.

Honestly, my ambitions to write more for this aren't too high, and I doubt that it'll ever be finished, but I do work on it every now and then and I might have another chapter done at some point.
Though, seriously, you shouldn't wait for it since it might take a few months.
