While the filly's backstory is nice and all and makes sense without necessarily being overly dramatic... ((Though i wonder what war they were fighting)) I do wonder this... How did she hear of the story of NMM. How come she didnt know she was a Princess now or how she's been behaving to her subjects?

These are not per say bad but it's still derogatory to turn villains to woobies if not done correctly. But here "Simply misunderstood" is not enough.
Also NMM is being a jerk to a kid because she doesn't understand her. She's a kid! An immature little kid! Why is she shocked to hear her reaction?
The last two are my main problem. They dont depend upon other stories.
