This was pretty good, but lacks some more information about the world.
Can't really understand why this had 0 upvotes to 2 downvotes when I started reading.

This was a joy to read, and an interesting take on the world pre equestria.

BEST DISLESTIA FANFIC EVEER
OMG
thank you fpr writing this O_O
is there going to be a sequel?

MMOOOOOOOAAAAAARRR :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Amazing, truly. It is rare to see writers delv into the minds of immortals. This is something I both wish to see more of, and hope remains seldom seen. Thank, you.

Finally, someone writes normal, bittersweet passionate smut for these two! No weird fetishes, no rape, nothing strange: praise the Gods, someone stood up to the plate and got the job done right! It was about time we got some well-written Discelestia sexytimes.

You wrote this as if you had sex yourself!!!
Job well done though! Very descriptive!

I liked the messages in this fic. :scootangel:
It could have easily been a confused, erotic mess.:rainbowhuh:
But you made everything matter. Celestia and Discord felt so real, so human, and so flawed. You explore Celestia's reasoning's and explain Discords change of heart in a rather believable way.

This story felt like how immortals should love. Deeply not cheaply.

I also like the whole idea that Celestia, Luna, Discord etc... were all precursors to the ponies and were ment to "led" them. It's like a passing of the torch and I always adore concepts like that.

If the featured box was actually based on merit rather than popular vote, this would surely be there, and get the praise it deserves, but alas. I'll assume others were driven away by length.

This was ridiculously good. It's the kind of fantastically depthful and well-thought-out that I would love to see as canon in the show.

Beautiful, gave me profound insights. Three thumbs up!

To err is human.
To be human is to live.
To live is to die.
To die is Remembrance.
To remember is to forget.
To forget is innocence.
To be innocent is to err.

And errors come in a circle that grows and adds to itself.
And the end must come, but the end leaves room for a beginning.

I loved this story!

What to say, what to say...
I loved it. I tend to stick with 'I like it', since the phrase I actually use this time seems to be thrown around way to much, but it would be an understatement otherwise. Your phrasing is marvelous! You have such a vast, expansive vocabulary and you put it to good use - throughout the entire story, even the intimate scenes. And that is something I don't came across that much. I really can't say how much I appreciate that you don't drift to random porn-dialogue. It may sound a bit strange, but both Tia and Discord have their dignity untouched, even after being through a very intimate scene. I read quite a few attempts in which I just couldn't bring myself to take them seriously afterwards or where I just felt like I should be embarrassed - or they should be. Or everyone should be. You handled that in the best way I could've imagined so far.

The theme of their conversation was something you earned praise for already. It's not that often that someone attempts to take a peek - or for that matter, to grant a peek - into an immortal mind. And succeeds. I congratulate you for this, too. And on top of things - Discord didn't broke the fourth wall. Again, I just can't thank you enough for this. For Pinkie Pie, I can accept this, as long as it doesn't go completely overboard. But, sadly, with Discord, the personification of chaos and slapstick, everybody seems determined to fourth-wall-breaking the s**t out of him. It gets annoying. Really, really fast. And you just went ahead and completely ignored a trait a lot of writers tend to focus on.

For that, for everything else, for the mentioned and the possibly-forgotten-thingies, for your effort and your work, I just want to

Thank you!

This is brilliant. Thoughtful, emotional, poignant, a fantastic buildup and compelling all the way through. Really, fantastic in all facets.

The way you've used your words here is simply stunning, and rarely seen. I would place the writing style with that of some of the greats of olden times, beautiful, incredibly descriptive while not being overwhelmingly dense, akin to walking barefoot on a shag carpet in terms of luxuriousness.
On a completely unrelated note, what does Discord's abbreviation of DM stand for? And I love the idea of the immortals having been close, and the same species before they gave themselves over to their power. There's an impressive amount of worldbuilding in this masterpiece!

That was... amazing! I really don't know what else to say... :pinkiehappy:

ok before going in you THAT artwork wow.

"Oh, Stars and Streams, Celestia!" Discord cried, leaping up from his reclined position. Giant fluffy balls of cotton appeared in his hands, and he jammed them into his ears desperately, clamping his forepaws over the white puffs once his head was thoroughly clogged. "Not listening! La la la, I can’t stand it! Augh, what happened to you?”

One: Same reaction I would have to Celestia at that point.

Two: A thousand years happened, Discord. A THOUSAND!

Well that was lovely! :raritystarry:

I’m sorry it took me so long to read one of your fics, after all you’ve done for me. Very tender, very bittersweet, quite powerful.

I rather want to read more about their little immortal salon from back in the day.

Maybe that's part of what inspired the idea to bring back enemies for twilight to defeat as way to give her confidence.
