The One and Only Chapter

"Wow... The stars sure are beautiful, huh?" Pinkie smiled as she gazed upon the stars who shimmered beautifully in the night sky.

Twilight nodded gently in response and the two mares sat in silence together as they looked at the shining specs of wonder from the hilltop, watching them shine and glimmer in the cloudless sky, stretching far off into the distance.

"I'm surprised you wanted to do this, Pinkie. I had no idea you had the interest," Twilight spoke as she peered into the depths of the night sky enjoying the peaceful quiet atmosphere around her.

Pinkie sighed and looked down. She brushed her hoof against the grass, watching it shine in the subtle light that the night sky provided, "Twilight... I actually didn't ask you out here to stargaze," Pinkie said as she looked over towards her friend, "Even though this really nice... The real reason I asked you out here was to be alone with you."

Twilight stared at her friend in silence as a small blush grew on her cheeks along the open mouth as she watched Pinkie whose eyes looked full of determination as they held the sparkling universe in it's reflection.

"Y-You see I've always liked you, Twilight. I admire you and I've always find you adorable and lately.... attractive," Pinkie blushed along Twilight who remained silent, still, "And I know that when I look at you and see you everyday doing your dorky adorable studies and experiments, I just feel this warmth inside my heart and I know that it's love and that I want to spend my life with you and I really wished I could show you how you make one of the happiest ponies in Ponyville, maybe Equestria, even happier... Because you do."

Time stood still for a moment and Twilight held her breath as she sat perfectly still under her blush as her heart raced watching the pink mare move closer and bringing a hoof towards her that gently rested itself on her shoulder.

"I love you, Twilight," Pinkie smiled, ever so gently, "And I want to be with you forever."

Twilight could feel herself shiver at the words as both happiness and sadness coursed through her body as her held breath finally let out. She watched Pinkie's eyes, who held nothing but love and sincerity as they stared at her expectantly... And Twilight felt the sadness overcome it's counterpart as the realization of it all started to sink in.

"Pinkie, I..." Twilight swallowed and lowered her head, peering at the ground, "I'm sorry..." Twilight spoke almost soundlessly as Pinkie's smile wavered before fading away. "…I really appreciate you telling me this... It's heartwarming to know somepony care so deeply for me but I'm sorry, Pinkie. I can't be together with you."

Pinkie looked at the mare who stared at the ground in silence muttering words quietly, yet not quietly enough... Pinkie felt her lower lip quiver as searing, throbbing pain slowly spread through her body, gripping her heart and puffing up her throat. It felt unbearable, but having prepared herself Pinkie bit her quaking lip and swallowed the thick lump in her throat, "It's okay... I understand—"

"No. You don't," Twilight interrupted as she looked back up at Pinkie, "I like you, Pinkie, but I..." Twilight paused as her blush grew, "I have a boyfriend."

"A-A boyfriend?!" Pinkie gasped, dropping her jaw completely as the shock knocked her out of her emotional tantrum.

"Yes. We've started dating very recently," Twilight nodded, "I haven't told any of you girls yet, cause we've just started seeing each other and I didn't want to make any hasty announcements."

"Wait! What do you mean 'boyfriend'? Who is this guy? When did you meet? Is he as wonderful and lovable as me?"

Twilight blushed and fiddled with her hooves as a grin grew on her face, "His name is Flash Sentry and he's really dreamy... ♥ He's royal guard at the castle of the Crystal Empire and yes, he's totally wonderful and lovable, and really cute and... sexy," Twilight smirked, picturing the orange baby face of her boyfriend standing on a hill, letting his blue mane ruffle as the wind swept through it.

Feeling a pair of hooves embrace her, Twilight got swept in a tight hug by her pink friend, "Aww, Twilight! I'm so happy for you!"

"Thanks," Twilight smiled, hugging back.

Pinkie smiled as well and enjoyed the hug, feeling Twilight's soft coat press tightly towards her. "Still..." Pinkie sighed as her smile faded away, "I really wished it would've been me..."

"I'm really sorry, Pinkie..." Twilight said as the hug ended, "As much as I like you, I really have strong feeling for Flash and I... think I might be in love with him..."

Pinkie folded her ears and sat immovable before settling for a nod. Twilight felt her own ears fold as she watched her friend silence, downhearted and sad.

"I really wished there was something I could do for you..." Twilight said softly, moving herself closer to Pinkie, "...To make you feel loved..." Putting a hoof to her chin, Twilight brought Pinkie's head up as the two shared an intimate eye contact, "But I'm afraid all I can offer you is meaningless sex...

"Lots and lots of meaningless sex, that we'd be forced to have everyday and moment in secret not have Flash break up with me," Twilight sighed and looked at Pinkie whose eyes strongly widen, "And I know it's not much... And I know it's not truly what you want, but... Pinkie...

"Would you do me the honor?"

Urgh...

Now, this story ditchin' the Twinkie for FlashLight is aggravating, but that’s not the point.

I would normally give this a CRACK, but... Twilight is in love with Flash, yet she wants Pinkie to have sex her, why? I don’t get it! Also, the emoji, happened just once actually inside the fic but not a big fan.

Obviously a troll, but gets a PRETTY BAD TERRIBLE*
