Zebra Territory

I began to write a letter to my parents, when all of the sudden a loud BOOM is sounded, I run out the post office to see a large rippling portal,

Jacob, Glistening and Suzie were all infront of it, I ran up to them, "What the hay happened?!" to which Suzie replied "I..don't know." "Only one way

to find out then." he proceeded to prepare to jump in, as a hoof caught him, Suzie was in tears "Glistening! Wait! What if you get hurt! Whatd I d-"

He stopped her "Suzie, calm down, if I don't come back, tell mom and dad, they'll figure something out." She cried as he jumped into the portal, I

glanced at Jacob, he nodded and jumped in after. Suzie looked at me "W-Who are you?" to which I replied "I'm Icy Wind, and your Suzie, you know me."
She looked at me and her eyes sparkled "I-Icy? How didn't I notice the voice? Oh my Celestia!" I nodded "But theres no time for this, I best go after

them, take care of yourself Suzie." And I jumped into the portal as it was closing.

On the other side was a very bright world, tinted with a green cyan atmospheric fog, Zebra's were everywhere, it was a village with hotsprings.

"Where are we?" asked Glistening Spark "Stripelvania, it's where zebras come from." answered Jacob "Wait, they come from a different world?" asked a

clueless Glistening Spark, He was immediately answered by Jacob "It's not another world, it's another continent, and the portal brought us here, the

fog is coming from all the alchemy going on..." We walked along the town, the zebras looked at us anxiously "Say, how do you know all this?" I asked,

Jacob replied with "You ask alot of questions." Glistening snarked back with "Hey! were just curious!" I agreed "Yeah! cmon dude!"
Jacob annoyed snapped back "I read it! Don't you know about books?" he rolled his eyes... On a hill, watches Zane "Heheheh...The boys are finally in

my trap..just a little longer, I need to lure them to the destination.." Later along the trail we find an old crippled zebra on a fork in the path,

as the fog dies off, we run up to him and try to help him and ask whats wrong frantically, he spoke in an old weak voice "..H-H...Him..He..." He

pointed at Jacob and rain frantically with his remaining energy "W-Wait!" said Glistening, we ran after him as on a mountain Zane chuckles evilly

"Perfect..It's going along perfectly..Ahahahah!" we lost him along the trail eventually, and came to a forest, we walked in, and my teeth were

clacking, I heard hissing as I yelped "AH! WHY SNAKES! WHY SNAKES!!!!????" Jacob replied with "Ah, yes, snakes are much more prominent in

Stripelvania, had you mentioned your phobia, we couldve taken the other path to the volcano which most likely caused this...did I forget to mention

that?" Glistening Spark grumbled "YEAH YOU DID FORGET TO MENTION THAT WERE GOIN' TO A VOLCANO YA BIG IDIOT! I'M AFRAID OF MOUNTAIN CLIMBING!" to

which Jacob replied with "Arguing won't get you anywhere." meanwhile snakes were slithering all over me, one slithered onto my horn, to which I

snapped and launched it against a tree with my magic, which was a bad idea, because that shook a tree full of snakes, that fell all over me "OH COME

ON! NONONO! STOP! PLEASE!" I screamed "Ugh" grumbled Glistening as his horn began to glow, he picked up all the snakes off of me and put them back in

the tree, we exited the forest and appeared in a port, "Hey! a port! can I just go home?!" I said "Home? when were about to find out why this

happened?" replied Jacob, Glistening Grumbled and said "Why'd it have to be rain?" I happily trotted through the rain and we found a tattered home

with a sattelite, we head inside, where we find an old kooky couple "I thought you should die, so I killed ya' EYEHEHEH!" laughed the stallion at a

zebra skeleton, the mare replied with "Silver Stripe, we got visitors!" the stallion replied with "EYEHEHEHEH! Alright! Who're you sonny?" cackled

the stallion as he put a hoof around Jacob, Jacob had an unamused look on his face, the mare put her arm around me and said "And who's this cute

little filly?" to which I angrily replied "Filly!? I'm a grown stallion!" she backed off and looked at me with a look of disdain "Well, weve been in

a whole lotta problems lately, with this storm that literally just occured, we aint got no sattelite power!" suddenly, I had an idea. "I got it!" I

said, as my horn glowed I looked up at the storm cloud, and caused a flash of lightning to hit the sattelite. The mare came up to me and said "I-I

can't help yall enough for yer' troubles, here, take this!" as the lights finally came on she handed me a map. Jacob replied "It's dangerous to go

alone! take this!" I slapped him and he slapped me back harder "Ow!" I yelped as we looked at the map, it looked as a normal map except for one

detail, the map showed a path, a shortcut to the volcano...
