S01E19 A Dog and Pony Show

The diamond dog bore down on Rarity. "We hunt for gems. But you are a better hunter. So now we hunt... for you!"

Rarity stared him down. "I think not." Without warning, her horn glowed, sending blasts of blue magic into all three dogs.

The magic flung them back. They howled as they stood back up, and they bared their teeth.

Rarity lit her horn again.

She didn't need to use it. The three dogs scrambled away, yapping to each other as they went.

"Ugh. Let's go, Spike." Rarity held her nose. "I can't stand the smell of burnt dog hair."

I was really hoping that Pinkie would be like; "Oh! I LOVE gems! Can I go hunting with you guys?"
She goes with them, and finds a BEAUTIFUL gem that she decides is a fathers day gift. The Diamond Dogs steal it, and Pinkie opens up a can of Shaq-Fu.

Also, I would like to suggest that you come up with a replacement name for each episode and put it at the beginning of the chapter.
Also, what is Twilight doing for the friendship reports?

The girls talk to Pinkie about how promises can be broken if breaking the promise will help those she made the promise to... okay that's all I got today.

whenever i read these chapters, I think 'why don't they just do this?', I then realize that (no offence) ponies are complete, utter idiots. I mean seriously, they over-react to every little problem they have and over-think to fix the problem instead of logic. this is why reading these keeps my insanity on the down-low
