Interesting begining, So far you have my interest with the good writing and main character you created. It did not feel rushed, well maybe near the end, but overall it was okay. Now I dont have a sense this guy is a mary sue, since this guy got 2 explosions up his ass, so he is not immortal.
I will say is to focus on the characters and the story, without good interesting characters you got no story, and without story there is no purpose to the characters.
4915909 I think people compare Tyler to Mary Sue because it takes an entire mercenary company to take him town. To that I say it only took two guys to 'kill' him. Also, for the why they did it "was he really that good?" He didn't have to be perfect at his job. It's like going to sleep with a mosquito in the room. Will it kill you? No, probably not, is he an unnecessary nuisance? Yeah. Are you gonna kill it? Probably. Do you have to? No. That's the best I can compare this to so far with people claiming Mary Sue.

Okay you lost me here, The first chapter was great with some room for improvement and then this......I dont know i think when you started talking about neutral magics, having all these villains popping out of nowhere and how it felt so rushed. I just stopped caring, so ya sorry man.
