4927985 no… I just went to check. I must have somehow submitted this one at the same time as my actual League story! How does one undo these sort of goofs, because I have no idea how to delete it from there.
Discord who once made himself ruler of the world and caused chaos all over the land get a second chance and now can roam free. Discord who betrayed ponies of Equestria and made Tirek suck magic from nearly everypony is quickly forgiven. Twilight who repetively saved the world many times used dark magic once to save Ponyville from monster attack get a "you used dark magic, we hate you, banishment, execution" ?
Meh. If it's addictive, and using it once means it's more probable that the caster will use it in the future, and so on and so forth until you escalate so much that the magical equivalent of a nuke goes off...it kinda makes a bit of sense.
5043725 Power is not evil nor good. It's simply power. The user of the power defines it. I always get fed up when in stories certain type of power is always evil. Let's see how this fic goes though.
I get that it's taboo black magic, but it's not like she used it to massacre ponies. It's not like she didn't feel remorse for her actions. She used it to save a town for Pete's sake. I think she deserves a little leniency from the populace in general.
Complaining dude? If she hasn't used that, your fillies would have been killed to. Back of a little.
5119497 It pisses me off too. I mean, I can see some positive uses of Necromancy. Hell, some black magic is good in war (Example: The "Want It, Need It" spell but it is a double-edge sword).
I think the restrictions on blood magic are more based on the morality of it as well as the psychological effects, as described in this chapter. The problem I have with this is that the princesses are restricted, as well. There's literally nothing that could stop them from doing it, and they must have imposed the rules themselves, but this chapter infers that these restrictions were proposed before they came to power. Either that or they were laws before there was any monarchy (diarchy?), and couldn't conceivably affect the royalty in any way--at least, no pony or other creature would think to prosecute one of their rulers. But that's just me.
5857804 You're forgetting that there were 3 (now 4) alicorns. If one of them falls to corruption it is necessary for the others to take care if it. The only way this doesn't work is if all of them are using forbidden magics. In which case, equestria has a lot more to worry about then just a rogue alicorn.
Yay! Sorry I failed you. Life had other plans for me the past few days. Well, this story is terrific, no doubts about that.
Wish you told me this was up. Nice start
4901043 this just got through moderation. I haven't had a chance to tell you, yet. XD
4901101
Well, now you did.
Also, good start.
An excellent start!
So will Twilight die in the end? I'm asking this case I've seen Rated Poystar's concepts of probable endings.
4905725 that's the ending. Can't be posting spoilers, now, can I?
4900956 you're fine. I just wanted to get these out and started so I could have good motivation to keep moving
Me likey. Moar pls.
4916864 workin on it. About half done with the next chapter
Sorry but, this is league related? I just don't see it....
4905725
It's his story now. He can do whatever ending he wants. Not even one of mine
4917109 what? No? My other one is, though. What brought that up?
4927933 Because for some reason this story popped up saying it was added to the group

4928242 Not sure. Maybe you can just pm the group owner saying sry u put it there and they would take it out
This has potential... I'm excited.
This was great! When are you going to release the 2nd chapter?
4995535 I'm almost done with it, just been a bit busy lately
5005054 o.o That's... eery... and very appropriate for this, methinks.
I don't believe that magic is dark, or evil, there's just magic that is very easy to use for evil purposes.
Good story, by the way.
So let me get this straight.
How does that make any sense?

Still weird, though.

I know a quote that would accurately describe power, it goes,
"good and evil fade away, history shall judge me, victorious" - Megatron
