Sometimes, for me at least, the only thing that can stop an ear worm is an even catchier one...

The best way I know to eradicate an earworm is changing up the lyrics to something more acceptable; I'd recommend "Hole on Fire" (a song about a visit to the local Indian restaurant), or possibly "Pole on Fire" (dealing with an STD) for this one.

Sorry, bro. You're kinda f*cked in that department. I've heard more than my fair share of ear worms and they ALWAYS come back. Sometimes it takes days, weeks, sometimes even months, but they ALWAYS come back.

As for you, I recommend playing as many other songs at random as you can stomach. Preferably those with no lyrics or lyrics in a foreign language. Video game soundtracks may be your friends here. A music app's shuffle function definitely will be. Of course, that's just what works for me.

Ironic that Christian Rock is being brought into a fanfiction like this. It's almost comical

reminds me of several stories where people got a song stuck in their head, and the ONLY way to get it out was to pass it to someone else...
