On space station Eclipse Nova's life turns into a nightmare when Twilight Sparkle uncovers a strange artifact, a Marker. Unknowingly she brings it onto the station where a necromorph outbreak beings. Now Nova must battle horrific creatures as well as dealing with her inner demons. Does she have what it takes to make it out alive? Or will she be consumed by Eclipse like everypony else?

This is my first fic so all feedback good or bad is welcome. Not much violence in the first chapter, I wanted to set up the story and ease into it.

I say it is rather good. You do have a lot of run on sentences. But some commas and periods here and there and it will be even better.

Awww shoot... Just when I was getting the idea to write a Dead Space fic too...
Well, I must say though, this is a rather well thought out and narrated story. More interesting than the other one made by a different author, as it's more jumpy and Isaac is out of character somewhat...
But back to this, I find this story to be rather sensible and easy to get a bearing of where the main character is, along with what's happening all around her. The detail is rather well thought out as I have stated, along with the dialogue not being flat and boring. Though you get extra points and a moustache for not making Nova a Mary Sue to the story.
Though I can safely say your story has a lot of promise within it so far and that you should definitely keep going where you're going with this fic, it's headed down a bright path.

i really like this, i "Watched" (havent bought the game) dead space 1 and 2 and i was captivated by the story and so i can pick up refrenses you make. now what has me curious is the ending. it describes orbit is on the floor but he is covered in blood and even has a dismembered hoof? so something tells me he got chased my a necromorph (or something idk) and it ended up in the air lock with him and basicly killed him. i guess i will have too wait for Ch.2
