They say the goal was to keep ponykind alive, and yet they couldn't make two sets of armor and talismans? One set each for a mare and a stallion would've ensured ponykind actually survived, rather than Rainbow Dash pointlessly living for another two millennia all while feeling so much pain.

Well, I was more going for the effect that that was supposed to happen, but due to the little time that they had, the massive amount of magic that it took to make the armor and talismans, plus the fact that they didn't have all four princesses to help with it, it didn't work out. Really, it would take an extraordinary amount of magic to create something that would make somepony invincible.

Hello welcome to feels. Please got off the train because you will be here for a very long time contemplating life about your OC and this story because you feel as if you can relate to this story on a very personal matter and also you might break down crying every now and then since your favorite character in the entire show is going to die. Now I feel sad.
