Kamen Rider/ MLP: The Battle for Equestria
Chapter 1
The Invasion
It was a day nopony in Equestria would soon forget. The day the Changelings invaded. The Changeling leader, Queen Chrysalis, had taken the form of Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, or Cadence as she preferred, and was preparing to marry Captain Shining Armor of the Royal Guard. However, Twilight Sparkle, the personal student of Princess Celestia and bearer of the Element of Magic, saw through Chrysalis' evil scheme and stopped the wedding before it was complete. This was however a minor inconvenience for the Changeling Queen as her forces invaded the city of Canterlot. Twilight Sparkle and her fellow Elements of Harmony fought valiantly against the Changeling hoards, but they were soon captured by Chrysalis along with Princess Celestia.
However, as all hope seemed lost Princess Cadence and Shining Armor used the power of their love to repel Chrysalis and her Changeling army from Canterlot and Equestria.
With her forces, defeated, the nation of Equestria thought they had seen the last of Chrysalis.
They could not have been more wrong. For just like the Hydra, as one force of evil is defeated, another will rise to take it's place.
This is is the story of that evil, and the heroes who fight to protect all worlds from their destruction.
This is the story of the Kamen Riders.
Princess Celestia and Princess Luna were preparing the city of Canterlot for the Summer Sun Celebration. Celestia had been through this same process for more than a thousand years, so it should have been relatively routine for her.
However, this year was particularly special for Celestia and Equestria. This year would not only celebrate the raising of the sun, but the return of Celestia's sister, Princess Luna, and the newly crowned Princess Twilight Sparkle, her student. Celestia was overjoyed at the prospect of her beloved sister and student participating in this event with her.
“This year's Summer Sun Celebration will certainly be a memorable one, won't it Luna?” Celestia said.
“We agree dear sister. We are ecstatic that thou has chosen us to participate in this event with thee. However, we still have our doubts about young Sparkle's role. Does thou truly think she can handle the responsibilities of being a Princess. She is but a mere filly compared to us, or even Cadence for that matter,” Luna said in her old timey way of speaking. Celestia frowned at her sister for a moment but then regained her normal composure.
“I know you still have doubts about Twilight's abilities to handle the role of Princess, but she has proven herself time and again to be capable of possessing and controlling far greater power. Was she not the one who helped free you of the Nightmare?” Celestia asked.
“Aye,” Luna said somewhat deflated.
“And was she not also the one who saved Equestria from Discord, returned Cerberus to Tartarus, helped stop Chrysalis' invasion, and stopped the return of King Sombra?” Celestia asked like a mother berating her child.
“Aye! Yes, she has proven herself time and again to be a powerful mage, along with her fellow Elements. We merely question whether she will be able to handle the pressures of royalty. You have told us time and again of her constant panic attacks and need for perfection. What if she cannot handle the burden?” Luna asked. Celestia merely smiled and patted her sister on the head.
“Twilight will do just fine Luna. Besides, it's not like she'll be doing this alone. She has her friends as well as you, myself, and Cadance and Shining Armor. Princess Twilight will do just fine,” Celestia said with utter confidence. Luna merely looked at her sister, awed at how trusting she could be. Luna smiled at her sister.
“If you have faith in her sister, then we shall try to put our faith in Princess Twilight as well,” Luna said. Celestia smiled and nuzzled her sister.
“Thank you Luna. Now come, we must continue with the,” Celestia was suddenly cut off as a loud boom echoed throughout Canterlot. Celestia and Luna looked up to see that a large portal had opened up above Canterlot.
“Sister, what is that?” Luna asked.
“I don't know Luna. But I'm sensing a lot of evil magic emanating from that portal,” Celestia said. A group of Guards soon ran up to Celestia looking for orders.
“Guard, implement anti-invasion plan 759, NOW!” Celestia commanded, switching from her normal calm demeanor into one of a seasoned war general.
The guards all saluted and said in unison “AT ONCE MA'AM!” and proceeded to implement Celestia's plan. As the guards scrambled to get into position, something began to come out of the portal.
Celestia and Luna got into a battle position, their horns aglow with magic.
Soon, they were able to see what the object coming from the portal was. The object appeared to be similar to an airship, except far different in design and made entirely out of metal. Celestia's eyes widened as she saw who was at the helm.
“No, it can't be! We defeated her!” Celestia yelled.
Sure enough, at the helm of the ship was none other than the supreme queen of all changelings, Queen Chrysalis. To make matters even worse, she was followed by thousands of her changeling army.
“CITIZENS OF EQUESTRIA!! IT IS I, QUEEN CHRYSALIS!!!! I HAVE RETURNED TO STEAL ALL THE LOVE FROM THIS LAND!!!! BUT THIS TIME, I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED!!!!!” Chrysalis bellowed as hundreds of her changeling army flew down to attack Canterlot.
“Sister, what should we do?” Luna asked.
“You help the Guard defend the city. Contact Shining Armor and Cadence as well, let them know the situation. I will contact Twilight and the other Elements. We will need their assistance in this battle,” Celestia said. Luna nodded and flew off to aid in the battle. Celestia quickly wrote a letter to Twilight before rushing off to gather the Elements. Questions flooded her mind as she ran.
“Why is Chrysalis attacking now? What is that odd airship of hers? And why do I feel she's not working alone this time?” The Princess of the Sun thought as she took flight.
Meanwhile, in Ponyville
“Dang it, why can't I get this right!?” Twilight screamed as she face-planted for about the fiftieth time that day in her attempts to gain better control of her new wings. Her friends were all gathered around her, offer comfort and the occasional snicker at her futile attempts at flight.
“Okay, here's something I don't get Twi. You were able to fly so well at your coronation, so why are you so bad at it now?” Rainbow Dash asked. Twilight rubbed her head and looked down sheepishly.
“Beginner's luck I guess?” she said. Rainbow simply face-hoofed at her friend's excuse.
“It's okay Twilight, not everyone's the best flier at first. It took me years to learn how to fly properly, and I grew up with Rainbow Dash,” Fluttershy said trying to comfort her downtrodden friend.
“Besides darling, it's not like you could ever have expected to suddenly grow wings. You have spent most of your life as a unicorn after all,” Rarity said. Twilight looked at her wings and sighed.
“I guess you're right Rarity. I am still getting used to all this,” Twilight said as she looked down and sighed.
“Somethin' else on yer' mind sugarcube?” Applejack asked.
“Well...I just really want to do well in my part for the Summer Sun Celebration. It's going to be my first official duty as a Princess and I don't want to mess it up,” Twilight said. Pinkie suddenly appeared and grabbed Twilight's face and forced her to smile.
“Come on now silly, I don't wanna see our most favorite and smartest Princess with a big old frowny face. You've done more difficult things than this right?” Pinkie asked, her trademark grin plastered on her face. Twilight removed Pinkie's hooves and rubbed her face.
“Yeah, but that was all spur of the moment stuff. This is something that's planned and precise. I cant' afford to mess it up,” Twilight said, her anxiety starting to show. Spike walked up to her and patted her side.
“Come on Twi, you'll do fine. Besides, I doubt Princess Celestia is really gonna mind if you make one little mistake. She's not exactly the type to berate someone for one little mistake is she?” Spike asked. Before twilight could respond, Spike burped up a burst of green smoke, which produced a scroll with Celestia's personal insignia on it. Twilight levitated it with her magic and opened it.
“What's it say Twilight?” Spike asked. As twilight read, her eyes turned to pinpricks and she immediately rolled the scroll back up.
“We need to get to Canterlot now!” Twilight said as she began running towards the train station. The rest of the Mane Six and Spike followed suit.
“What's wrong Twilight?” they all asked.
“Canterlot's under attack, by Queen Chrysalis,” Twilight said. They all looked at each other shocked.
“I thought your brother and Princess Cadence sent that pain in the flank packing, what's she doing back now?” Rainbow Dash asked.
“I don't know Rainbow, but the Princess said it was urgent,” Twilight's horn glowed as a book appeared in front of her “and she said we'll need these,” Twilight said as she levitated each of her friends their respective element necklace and her tiara. They all looked at each other concerned.
“Well let's get moving ya'll!” Applejack said as she increased in speed. They all followed her lead and soon found themselves at the train station. However, they were shocked to see that the train had been shut down.
“Ah ponyfeathers! Now how are we gonna get there in time!?” Rainbow Dash exclaimed.
“Twilight, can't you just teleport us there?” Rarity asked. Twilight's face grew nervous.
“ That's difficult. I could probably teleport myself safely, but I'm not sure about the rest of you,” Twilight said. They all looked at each other before a voice suddenly said “Perhaps I can be of assistance,” before from out of nowhere, Discord appeared. Everyone except Fluttershy got into a defensive stance.
“What do you want Discord?” Twilight asked. Discord simply floated in mid air, looking quite offended.
“I merely want to help you all. Besides, Celestia sent me here to make sure you all got to Canterlot safely,” Discord said. They all looked at each other.
“If Celestia sent Discord here, it must be really bad,” Rarity said. Discord suddenly appeared out of Rarity's mane and said “Oh it is dear Rarity. Chrysalis' army is simply devastating the city. As much as I enjoy chaos, even I don't like what she's doing,” Discord said as he exited Rarity's mane, Rarity shuddering as he did so.
“How can we be sure you won't send us someplace else?” Pinkie said. Discord looked at them with an annoyed look on his face.
“Look, Canterlot's in danger and if Chrysalis wins, then my fun will end. So either let me teleport you there or don't. It's your choice,” Discord said as he produced a chair out of nowhere and began to patiently sit. The Mane Six looked at each other with worried expressions. Finally, Fluttershy spoke up and said “I think we should trust Discord”. Discord rose form his chair and gave Fluttershy a hug.
“Oh thank you Fluttershy, I knew you'd believe in me,” he set her down “So what's your decision. Will you let me teleport you Canterlot or not?” he said. They all looked at each other before they all nodded. Twilight walked up to Discord.
“We'll trust you just this once. Any funny business and we'll turn you right back into stone. Got it?” Twilight said. Discord suddenly turned into a crystal version of himself and said “Crystal, Princess Twilight”. With that, Discord snapped his claws and suddenly the Mane Six and Spike were all transported to Canterlot.
The Mane Six and Spike opened their eyes after the teleportation, and what they found chilled their blood.
Flames were spreading all across Canterlot. Changelings were attacking ponies left and right. The Royal Guard were trying their best to fend them off, but the changelings seemed stronger than last time.
The Mane Six shook off their initial shock and went straight into action. Twilight and Rarity blasted them magic, Rainbow Dash used her speed to create tornadoes, Pinkie Pie fired her Party Cannon, Applejack used her hind legs too buck changelings into walls, and Fluttershy tried her best to stay out of their way, but occasionally used The Stare. Spike was trying his best to stay out of the Mane Six's way while holding off Changelings by shooting fire.
They slowly made their way towards the main castle. As they made their way there, they noticed the large airship in the sky.
“What in tarnation is that!?” Applejack said.
“Trouble,” Twilight said as she blasted an incoming changeling with a purple burst of magic.
“We have to find the Princesses, now!” she said as they made their way up the steps. Soon they made it to the central courtyard. What they saw there caused them all to stop in terror.
There, laying on the ground were Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, and standing above them was Queen Chrysalis and some unknown figures in white coats. They looked to be about the size of a teenaged dragon, but they had no scales or fur of any kind except for tufts of hair atop their heads.
When Chrysalis saw the Mane Six, she smiled her evil serrated grin.
“Well, if it isn't Twilight Sparkle and her little group of friends. Oh, I'm sorry, Princess Twilight now is it. Funny how a few months can change a pony isn't it,” she said as she kicked Celestia in the ribcage, causing the downed Princess to spit out some blood.
“Princess Celestia!” Twilight said as she fired a bolt of magic at Chrysalis. However, out of Chrysalis' shadow jumped a strange creature who intercepted the attack with little to no damage to itself. The monster looked vaguely like the beings in white coats, except it was at least a foot taller, with an almost completely black body with flame like designs and armor along it's body and head. Chrysalis patted the creature on the head and said “Good work Hellhound”. The monster bowed to Chrysalis before disappearing back into her shadow. The Mane Six looked at her in shock.
“Interesting creatures Phantoms. Born out of the destruction of those who have fallen to despair. Not to mention excellent soldiers,” she said with a chuckle. The Mane Six each took a step back in fear. Chrysalis saw this and smiled.
“Scared little ponies? You should be. With the enhancements Foundation X has given my cute little changelings, nothing will be able to stop me from taking this world,” Chrysalis said as she began to laugh evilly. Her laugh was interrupted however as one of the white coated figures tapped her on the shoulder.
“Pardon me Chrysalis, I believe you're forgetting a certain term of our agreement,” the figure said. Chrysalis looked at the creature and smiled.
“My apologies Retsu. What I meant to say was the 'we' will take over this world,” Chrysalis said as she continued chuckling. The figure in the coat, Retsu, chuckled along with her.
“I'll admit, I never thought the Foundation would seek a partnership with someone of your.....stature. However, you're changelings have given us some spectacular data. Especially in our research on kaijin,” Retsu said. Chrysalis smirked at the odd creature. The Mane Six looked at each other nervously.
“What are you talking about? What's a kaijin?” Twilight said. Chrysalis and Retsu both began to laugh as a hoard of changelings appeared from the sky. These changelings looked different however, with lifeless, blank eyes.
“Why don't you show them my lovelies,” Chrysalis said. The changelings all suddenly stood at attention and began to change.
One by one, the changelings began to transform into kaijin. Form left to right, they transformed into what the Mane Six could only describe as monsters. One looked like a giant walking volcano, another looked like a praying mantis, and the other three looked to be a minotaur, lion, and odd giant like creature that glowed with a constellation. The Mane Six backed away in fear.
“What in Equestria are those things!?” Applejack said.
“Your worst nightmare you foalish ponies. When that abysmal Princess Cadence and Shining Armor expelled my army and I from Equestria, they didn't just expel us form this land. They expelled us from this world entirely,” she said advancing on the Mane Six.
“For weeks we suffered in the void between worlds. Finally we ended up on a place called Earth. That's where I met my associate Retsu and Foundation X,” she said. Retsu and the other Foundation X members walked up to Chrysalis' side.
“They helped us, gave us new power and abilities. In exchange, I told them of this world, it's people, and it's treasures,” Chrysalis said, putting emphasis on the last word. Twilight thought about this for a moment before noticing that the Foundation X members were eying the Elements of Harmony. Twilight's eyes widened.
“You're after the Elements!” she yelled.
“You are indeed correct,” Retsu said stepping forward.
“Queen Chrysalis told us of the power the Elements of Harmony possessed. With them in our possession, there's no telling what powers we could possess. So if you all could hand them over, that will make this whole process move along much quicker,” Retsu said, extending one of his arms in a 'gimme' sort of way.
“Like Tartarus we're handing over the Elements you...whatever you are!” Rainbow Dash said as she charged the group. Retsu smiled as the volcano monster leaped in front of them and punched Rainbow Dash back, the smell of burnt fur lingering in the air.
“Rainbow Dash!”The Mane Six yelled, going to there injured friend. She was still conscious, but she had burns along one of her legs and one of her wings looked bent. Retsu laughed at Rainbow's injured form.
“Chrysalis was right, this one is just as brash as that foolish detective. Do you see now, you cannot beat the changelings as they are now, infused with the power of Kaijin. Surrender the Elements now, or you will see just how deadly our Kaijin can get,” Retsu said as the Kaijin readied themselves into battle stances. Twilight and the rest of the Mane Six looked at each other worried. If Chrysalis and Foundation X got hold of the Elements of Harmony, who knows what they would do with them.
“Enough!”
Everyone looked to see that Celestia and Luna were now standing, albeit weakly. Both were bleeding in a few places and their wings looked to be broken.
Chrysalis saw this and laughed “So the mighty Princesses Celestia and Luna still have some fight left in them. I admire your willpower Princesses, but even you must know you can't win,” Chrysalis said as Luna and Celestia moved towards the Mane Six.
“Princess, what should we do? They're too powerful,” Twilight said.
“I know Twilight. These Kaijin they have are some of the greatest foes I have ever faced. If they get the Elements, Equestria is lost,” Celestia said.
“Twilight...” Rainbow Dash croaked. Twilight went to her friend's side.
“What is it Rainbow?” Twilight asked. Despite the protests of her friends, Rainbow Dash weakly got to her hooves.
“Listen, these creeps are too powerful for us to handle. Even with the Elements, we stand no chance,” Rainbow said weakly.
“So what do we do then?” Twilight asked. The rest of the Mane Six looked at each other before they all hugged Twilight. Twilight stood there confused before all her friends sadly said “Run”.
“What?”
“Run. You, Spike, and the Princesses take the Elements and get as far away from here as possible. We'll hold off Chrysalis and her goons for as long as we can,” Rainbow Dash said. The rest of the Mane Six nodded their agreement.
Twilight shook her head “No...no I'm not leaving you all! We beat Chrysalis once we can do it again! We can....” She was cut off as her mentor put a hoof on her shoulders. Twilight looked up at her mentor, tears forming on the edges of her eyes.
“Twilight, your friends are right. We have to take the Elements and run. As bad a taste as it leaves in my mouth, we must retreat,” Celestia said, her voice obviously hesitant. Twilight shook her head at her mentor.
“No,no,no,no! I'm not leaving my friends behind to die! We can figure this out, we can...” was all she managed to say before Celestia hit Twilight across her neck, knocking her unconscious. Spike ran to her side, looking up at the Sun Princess in shock.
“Why did you do that!?” he yelled before noticing the tears forming in her eyes. Spike knew doing this wasn't what the Princess wanted to do either, but what she had to do. Luna stood by her sister, her face obviously showing her anger at having to retreat.
Spike did the only thing he could think of. He ran to the remaining Mane Six and gave them all hugs, tears streaming down his face. They all hugged him back and gave him the remaining Elements.
“Be safe everyone,” he said before he ran back to the Princesses. Celestia looked at the Mane Six and smiled.
“You are all some of the bravest ponies I have ever met. Worry not my little ponies, we shall be back, and we shall defeat Chrysalis and Foundation X,” Celestia said as her and Luna's horns began to glow with magic.
Chrysalis and Foundation X saw all this and quickly knew what they were doing.
“Stop them at once! If they get away now everything will be ruined!” Chrysalis bellowed as the Kaijin charged at the group. The Mane Six ran to meet their charge as the Princesses' teleportation spell enveloped the four.
The last thing the Princesses and Spike saw was the remaining Mane Six trying their best to hold off the Kaijin.
Twilight opened her eyes wearily, a slight pain in her neck. She wondered where she was before suddenly remembering Chrysalis, Foundation X, and the Kaijin. She sat up from her resting place to find Spike sitting next to her. When he saw the she was awake, he hugged the lavender mare.
“Twilight, you're awake!” the young drake said. Twilight smiled at her assistant/adoptive brother.
“I'm glad to see you Spike, but where are we?” Twilight said as she broke the hug. Looking around, they appeared to be in a dilapidated version of one of the rooms in the castle
“The castle of the old pony sisters. The Princesses brought us here,” Spike said. Twilight's smile faded at the mention of the Princesses
As if on cue, the Princesses entered the room, bandages covering parts of their bodies.
Celestia smiled at Twilight and said “I'm glad you're awake Twilight”. That's when Twilight did something none of them ever would have thought she would do. She ran up to Princess Celestia and slapped her, tears in her eyes. Luna and Spike stood shocked while Celestia took the slap from her student, a remorseful look on her face.
Twilight huffed as she lowered her hoof “How dare you!! You just left my friends there at the hooves of Chrysalis and those monsters!!” Twilight yelled at her former mentor. Celestia rubbed her face.
“How could you!? You're supposed to be one of the rulers of Equestria and you just left you're subjects to..to....” Twilight fell to her knees at the thought that her friends might be dead. Celestia lifted her student's head and looked her in the eye.
“I am sorry for what I have done Twilight, but it was necessary. If we had not left then Chrysalis would have gotten the Elements of Harmony, and all of Equestria would be lost,” she said remorsefully. Twilight was about to say something when Spike suddenly tapped her on the shoulder, showing her the Elements of Harmony he had grasped in his talons. She could see that Spike had been crying as well. He was clutching Rarity's Element slightly closer to his heart than the others.
Twilight looked at the Elements and did what anyone would do, she cried. She wept for her friends, for Equestria, and for herself. For once, Twilight was at an utter loss for an idea. She was usually the one to come up with a solution to any problem. Not this time. This time her mind was a complete blank. She looked at her wings and cried more. Even with her new found title, she couldn't do anything to help her friends. It was a feeling she had never known before, the feeling of being powerless. Powerless to save her friends, powerless to save Equestria, and powerless to save herself.
Celestia draped a wing over her former student and comforted her in her misery. Despite Twilight's anger at her former mentor, she hugged her mentor for dear life.
“Princess...what are we going to do?” she asked. Celestia broke the hug with Twilight and stood tall.
“Luna, given the situation, I believe it is time we use 'that' spell,” Celestia said looking at her sister. Luna's eyes widened with shock as she moved over to her sister.
“Sister, are you sure? We are uncertain whether it will work or not,” Luna said with apprehension.
“What are you talking about?” Twilight asked. Luna and Celestia looked at each other before Celestia nodded at Luna. Luna sighed at this but nonetheless went along with her sister's decision.
“Twilight, as you know you and you're friends are connected to the Elements. This means you are the only ones capable of using them,” Celestia said. Twilight looked sad at the mention of her friends, but her curiosity was now piqued.
“Yes, I know. Without my friends, we can't use the Elements,” Twilight said.
“A falsehood, young Sparkle,” Luna said. Twilight and Spike looked at the Princesses confused.
“What do you mean?”
“The power of the Elements are linked to you and your friends. However, this only applies to our world,” Celestia said. Twilight looked at them confused.
“As you know, there are other worlds beyond just Equestria. You yourself traveled to one when Sunset Shimmer stole your Element”. Twilight smiled at the memories of the human world and the alternate versions of her friends.
“I still hate remembering that. I mean why was I a dog the whole time?” Spike said, still holding a grudge at his time as a canine. Twilight shot him a glare and he quickly shut up.
“There exists a spell that allows one to summon a champion, or champions in our case, from another world to ours in times of great peril. If we use this spell, and Mother Faust willing they agree to help us and wield the Elements, we may be able to defeat Chrysalis and this Foundation X,” Celestia said.
Twilight thought about this idea. She was certainly intrigued by the idea of a summoning spell. In theory, it could work. She had been to another world before and knew that beings there could be nice. But there was one catch.
“Princess, what if these champions we summon are hostile, or what if they decide not to help us?” Twilight asked. Celestia looked at her student and smiled.
“That's just a risk we're going to have to take Twilight. Will you join me in this task?” Celestia asked.
Twilight looked at Spike, who was still holding the Elements. Twilight stood before Celestia and said “Of course. I can never forgive Chrysalis or this Foundation X. If there's any way I can help stop them, I'll do whatever is necessary of me. As both a Princess of Equestria and the Element of Magic!” Twilight said with confidence.
“You are truly of your title Princess Twilight. Now come my former student, we must make the preparations for the spell,” Celestia said as she, Twilight, Spike, and Luna all followed suit.
“I hope this works,” Twilight said as she followed her former teacher.
Will these champions help Twilight and Equestria? Will Chrysalis be stopped?
Find out next time on Battle for Equestria.
...and once again I think, "why doesn't anyone ever just call on Kabuto when Changelings happen?"
Ah well. Followed for Foundation X. Entertain me!
Dang are you going to add the new kiwami arms gaim has. From the cover art and recent episodes I think it will be best to have him at full power here.good start and if those six are going to be going to equestria than I would like to see how this develops. Yes I'm counting Phillip. You are going to summon them in their final forms right that way shotaro won't be forced into kamen rider joker for this.
4497343 No Kiwame Arms, for two reasons.
First, it translates into Extreme. Now, since the plan is for the final battle to have the Riders in their Super Modes, Kiwame Arms would be kind of redundant in the same battle as Double Cyclone-Joker Xtreme.
Second, the plan is for the Secondary Riders to show up to help out at some point, and even before Kiwame Arms made its debut, Baron had obtained the power of Lemon Energy Arms. Having him in that form would kind of overshadow some of the others.
Therefore, Gaim probably won't be going beyond Kachidoki Arms.
Now, count up your typos!
Should be guards, plural.
Move the comma between the n and t.
Capitalize Twilight.
Same as above.
One o too many, there.
One space too many.
Move the period inside the quotation marks.
That.
Your.
See above.
This Running Gag is starting to get a little old.
Again, period inside the quotation marks.
Sorry for going Grammar Nazi on you, but this is a story that I have a personal stake in.
...KITAAAAAA!!!!!!
I've been waiting for this, and now it's finally here! Now, let's ride!
EDIT: Given the current situation, I'd say this song fits the mood perfectly.
It begins, and it shall be glorious

Of course Philip will summoned to Equestria with Shotaro. After all, the latter can't transform into Double without the former.

I think I can give 2 more reasons for why Kachidoki Arms will be used in place of Kiwami Arms:
1. The Final Forms of Double-Wizard each have their own unique colors (CycloneJokerXtreme is green, white, & black, Putotyra Combo is purple, Cosmic States is blue, and Infinity Style is silver). Gaim's Kiwami Arms shares the exact same primary color as Wizard's Infinity Style, the Rider who came just before him. Kachidoki Arms, on the other hand, has orange as its default color.
2. Gaim's predecessors each have a personal weapon for their respective Final Forms (Double's CycloneJokerXtreme has the Prism Bicker, OOO's Putotyra Combo has the Medagabryu, Fourze's Cosmic States has the Barizun Sword, and Wizard's Infinity Style has the AxCalibur). His Kiwami Arms may have the ability to summon any of the Arms Weapons, but it doesn't really possess a unique weapon for itself. Kachidoki Arms at least has the DJ Gun as its weapon of choice.
The riders in this story are the Neo-Hesei Rider (Post-Decade Riders)
Huh...not bad. Looking forward to this, not gunna lie. I'm especially curious if Gaim's presence will connect Equestria to Hellhiem, or if the world's magical properties will manifest his armor as it does in said forest.
Well, good luck, good set-up, and this certainly looks interesting!
This is going to be AWESOME! can't wait for next chapter
I have to admit I was skeptical of this, especially because allot ot the first half felt like a semi-recap of Princess Twilight Sparkle Part 1. But the deviations it did make were really dramatic, and you (the author) are REALLY good at showing character's emotions. Could be a bit clearer on why Chrysalys and the changelings are so much stronger now, but the set up with Foundation X made them a serious threat. It's going to be amazing to see how you intergrate the Kamen Riders with the Ponies for awesome Kaijin battles!
Keep up the good work and I can't wait for the next chapter :3.

Oh, trust me. We have something crucial planned for Shining Armor. I don't want to give too much away, but let's just say that he will do something that will help out Twilight and the Kamen Riders in their battle.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure the Armor Parts only materialize from energy instead of appearing out of a dimension opening if the Rider is in the Helheim Forest when they transform. "The Fateful Sengoku Movie War" kinda proved that whenever Kouta, Kaito, and Mitchy transformed while they were in the World of the Sengoku Period.
4508253 Sorry, should have explained better. You're right, in Helheim, they appear out of energy, and if the Armored Rider is elsewhere, then a Crack opens and the Armor Pod comes out of it. Thing is, Equestria has what I think is a tree similar in properties to Helheim's own fruit...The Tree of Harmony. My going theory/head-cannon is that the Tree itself might be a Forbidden Fruit that found it's way to Equestria, or was even planted by the one who earned it in this world. As a result, instead of a world of Inves and another version of Helheim, we have Equestria, and the magical creatures having evolved as they did, because of the properties of the forest. Hence, why Lock Seed use would SEEM to work the same in Equestria as in Helheim, the two worlds would share similar or the same properties, just taken down different paths.
Yeah, I know, a bit out there. But it would also explain the properties of the Elements of Harmony. How, while they work best when used with friendship, we HAVE seen them used as foci and without their full effect against Nightmare Moon, while still being powerful. In this same regard, Lock Seeds don't NEED to be used with a Driver, but work best there. Plus, I always thought the Elements might be Lock-Seed compatible if they ever ever Held by an Armored Rider...oh the shenanigans!
Anyway, it's a thought about how you could add a touch more depth, and even mystery to the Tree and a connection for Gaim to hold onto while he's there. Plus, let's face it, after seeing Kiwami Arms, my mind is buzzing with ideas for how the Lock Seed would work outside of using it with Kachidoki.
Thanks for the reply, and i hope this made at least some sense.
4497520 Kiwami may translate to Extreme, but unless the plan is to translate all of the Arms with Japanese names to English, redundancy is not a problem here if you stick with the given names. If you must translate it to English, why not go with Zenith Arms, as OverTime has done with their subs? Speaking of redundancy, Ryuki wasn't the only one with a Survive form. Knight got one too. Both Blade and Garren had Jack forms. Decade and DiEnd have Complete forms as well.
The only way I can think of to prevent overshadowing is to keep each rider in their base forms, and that's kind of boring. When power upgrades are given or stronger characters appear, overshadowing will naturally occur.
4498117 Coloration should not be an issue for not using Kiwami Arms, and neither should the lack of a form specific weapon. Ryuki Survive, Faiz Blaster, Hibiki Armed, and Den-O Liner were all primarily red in their final forms. Ultimate Kuuga had the same weaponry as his Growing and Mighty forms: none. Shining Agito and Complete Decade didn't get any new weapons either. Birth's final form was just all of his weapons/gear piled on him. OOO and Beast have used their final weapons in other forms as well. With all of those exanples in mind, I can't think of any other reason to exclude Kiwami Arms. Another reason to include Kiwami Arms would be to combine two weapons with the Musou Saber, kind of like this.

And, at least in this flash game, the Donkachi and Durinoko can also combine with the saber. Imagine the potential.
And the various Arms do materialize out of energy in Helheim. If the rider is right there in the forest, then it will drop down right there. Otherwise, a crack will open and the Arms will drop in that way. So you've got that aspect nailed down.

Even so, I still think it would be best to have our story take place between episodes 24 and 25 , as they seem to be the most recent episodes of the series where the beginning of the latter (25) does not immediately pick up from where ending of the former (24) left off. Every episode following 25 so far seems to begin directly from where the previous episode ended. Also, with how episode 32 played out, it appears to indicate that most, if not all, of the remaining episodes after that will be like that as well and not show any extended passage of time go by between them. Gaim's upcoming movie has the excuse of taking place after the series in an alternate timeline.
4525333 Even so, Kouta could be brought in during a lull in the action. After all, we don't see everything that happens to the characters in the show, and there should be some downtime for the characters between the episodes and major fights. There's also all the time that characters spend offscreen or going from place to place. The trip to Equestria could take place during any of those times.
