Pipsqueak's Twilight Time

The Hay Burger

The Hay Burger, one of the only fast food places in Ponyville, and the place for Twilight, and Pip to get lunch for today. As soon as they opened the door, they saw that it was a little crowded, but the line was short, as they can see, almost all of the tables were full, except fro three of them, one in the far end, left in the restaurant, and in the center, and one that is the second last, at the left side of the restaurant..

"So...where do you want to sit, Pip?" asked Twilight

"Ummm....How about over there?" He pointed out to the last one of the far left of the restaurant.

"Of course." said Twilight with a smile.

The two then walked over to the table and sat in it, trying to make themselves comfortable.

"So, what would you like to order?" Twilight asked Pip softly.

"Umm....I'll just have a double hay-burger with cheese with a small root beer." said Pip with a smile

Twilight was quite surprised to hear a small colt like Pip would want a double hay-burger instead of a single. "Are you sure? Because it sound a little big for you." said Twilight

"Please? I have eaten a double hay-burger before, and it wasn't to big for me." said Pip with honesty.

Twilight let out a small giggle and said " okay, okay. I'll go get the food. You gonna be okay, be yourself for a moment?" she asked him

"Of course." said

"Good." Twilight replied as she walked to the order station.

Pip was waiting very patiently for his and Twilight's order to be taken, and looked around the restaurant many times. Finally after a few minutes, Twilight came back, holding the order ticket with her magic.

"Okay, Pip. We are order number.....36." said Twilight, looking at the ticket

"Great!" Pip replied. "I hope this won't take long."

"It won't." said Twilight with a smile.

"Good." said Pip. And so, the two just sat and waited for their order to be said.

"Pip?" said A familiar filly's voice

Pip made a yelp of surprise, and looked the other way from the window to see, the Cutie Mark Crusaders standing next to Pip with a worried face.

"Are you feeling okay, buddy?" asked Scootaloo with concern.

"Oh, hey, girls. I'm feeling a lot better now." said Pip.

"Really?" said Applebloom.

"Yes." Pip replied.

"Hi girls." said Twilight in a cheerful tone.

"Hi Twilight." said the girls in unison.

"um, Twi? Why are you having lunch with Pip?" asked Sweetie Belle.

"Oh! He feels really guilty about what happened during Twilight Time, and I feel remorse for him, so I decided to spend some time with him to make him feel better." Twilight explained.

"Oh. good." said Scootaloo. "Do you mind if we join you Pip?" she asked the colt, with her along with Applebloom and Sweetie Belle had smiles on their faces.

"That's more for Twilight to decide." Pip replied

The girls then turned to Twilight with their smiles, and Twilight let out a soft giggle. "Of course you can join us." she said in a happy voice.

The girls then exclaimed random stuff in happiness. Applebloom, sat next to Twilight while Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo sat nexty to Pip.

"Hey Pip," said Scootaloo. "Sorry about your scooter. I promise I'll bring it back to you."

"It's alright, Scoot." said Pip, giving her a hug. Scootaloo normally would be annoyed with some-pony hugging her, but she decided that Pip was the only exception and hugged him back

"Thanks." she said

"So, what did you order?" asked Sweetie Belle.

"I ordered a double hay-burger with cheese." said Pip.

The crusaders eyes went wide open.

"A double hay-burger?" Applebloom replied

"That sounds huge!" said Scootaloo.

"You sure you want that?" asked Applebloom

"Yes. I'll be fine. I did have a double hay-burger before." said Pip a little annoyed.

"Hey, we're just surprised in a good way." said Sweetie Belle

"I know." replied Pip.

"Order 36!" said one of the employees.

"Oh! That's us, Pip." Twilight said. "I'll go get them." She stood up, and went to get the food. Pip saw his and Twilight's tray, and saw 3 burgers, and one of them was his. When Twilight came back with the food, she sat down, and placed Pip's box with the burger and gently sat it down in front of him "Here you go." she said

"Merci beaucoup, mademoiselle." Pip said

Twilight blushed and let out a giggle and said "No problem, sweetie."

The colt opened the lid on the box and saw his burger, and it was delicious. He used his hooves to grasp the hay burger, and when he got a good grip on it, he took a gigantic bite from it, making the crusaders, and Twilight's jaws drop a little in amazement.

When Pip swallowed his bite, he looked and saw The looks on their faces. "What?" asked Pip "Do I have something on my face?" He began to panic a little and sed his hooves to see if anything was on his little face.

"Oh no, no, Pip." said Twilight. "We're just surprised and amazed to see you eat a big bite from a small colt like you." said Twilight softly.

"Yeah, you didn't do anything wrong." said Sweetie Belle.

"Oh, okay." said Pip with relief.

"Anyway, we better go. We're planning on getting our cutie marks for Pig herders since our water purifying didn't work." said Scootaloo

"Okay." Said Twilight. "Have fun."

The girls walked out of the booth, and stopped to look back at Pip.

"Also, we are glad that you are feeling better, Pip." said Sweetie Belle.

"Yeah, buddy. We we're so worried about you." Scootaloo added

"Would you like to hang out with us sometime?" asked Applebloom

"Not right now, but some other time." said Pip.

"Bye." exclaimed the crusaders in unison as they exited the Hay-burger, and onto Scootaloo's scooter, into the dirt road.

"Well...I doubt that they will get their cutie marks for herding pigs." said Pip

Twilight let out a giggle and said "I know." Twilight then asked him"Can I ask you somethng, sweetie?"

"Sure, what?"

"Is Proncess Luna still your favorite princess?" Twilight asked

"Of course, I just love that how scary she can be during Nightmare Night, especially when she turns into Nightmare Moon to scare people must for the fun of it." Pip said

"Figures." said Twilight. "so what are you going to be this Nightmare Night, hmm?"

Pip had a thought and said "Well... I was thinking of being a superhero." said Pip

"Good." Said Twilight. Twilight felt her stomach growling and said "I better fill up my stomach." She continued to eat her food for a few minutes, and she said "Ready to go?"

"Hold on." said Pip, drinking the last sip of his root beer. "Alright, let's go." He and Twilight then exited the boot, with the alicorn holding the trash with her magic. The two exited the Hay Burger and looked around in different directions. Pip then had a thought and gently tapped Twilight's leg "Twi?" Said Pip

"Yes?" She asked softly

"What do you want to do now?" He asked

"What do you want to do? It's more like your decision then my own." Twilight replied

"How about...we just go through a walk in the park?" Pip suggested

Twilight's grew into a warm smile and said "Good Idea. Also, would you like to sit on the bench as well?"

"Oh yes." Said Pipsqueak. "I would love to."

"Good, let's go."

The two walked to the dirt road and into the park for their special time together.
