Haha! This was great. Kinda wish they kept the seal; though, not necessarily as a pet.

and all this time, im imagining the romance novel being written by the seal afterwards, "grey among a sea of rainbows: romancing the ponies"...

That ending was the best part! Hahaha

Well, you did a wonderful job of rationalising something very silly,
and actually turned it into quite a good story!
The portions with both Lyra and Bon Bon were definitely stronger for me,
but it's hard to write good interactions with a seal ^^.
Overall, good work!
