Very sweet. In a sea of stories that rely on pain and sadness to evoke emotion from the reader, it's good to see one that succeeds using happiness.

That said, I've always had an issue with people thinking that Twilight and Spike have a mother/son relationship. Twilight may have hatched Spike, but from the way they act, you can tell it's an older sister/baby brother thing. They clearly love each other, but they don't take each other seriously enough for it to be maternally based.

Glad everyone likes it. It was a simple story that came to me as I read some fictions.
As for the relationship, I think it is a rather complex one with a lot of different factors to consider but deep down one of them must be a little maternal on Twiligh'ts part and Spike probably holds some of those feelings, after all he had a pretty bad reaction to a new addition to his family didn't he. More like a child feeling replaced than a sibling thinking their position has be usurped.
