Ok, I'll give this a provisional thumb's up. I can see things playing out in a manner like this, though I'm pretty sure that Discord's going to realize pretty quickly that his action really ended up making his new freedom a lot more boring, since he just eliminated his best play opponents from the board because he got miffed Oh well, when you act like a child, there are consequences. Discord just hasn't learned that yet.
On the other side, I'll accept that everyone's operating under a very shocked sort of disorientation after the transport. The Mane 6 for the most part are being way too quiet, but then I'll give them at least another ten minutes or so before the shock wears off and things start setting in. (Pinkie not included, since she's practically in her element any time Discord does something.) I really want to see things unfold as this particular Trek episode unfolds. I would imagine that Trixie is already in a lot of trouble thanks to Q, and I want to see what sort of interactions you have planned for the Equestrians when the Borg come on the scene. After all, they are a new and distinctive species, ripe for Assimilation by the Collective, just like the Federation. Here's hoping your Muse stays frisky for you.

I mean you could cross any thing over with TNG because the resoan it happens is because Q wanted to play a little game with picard. I love this. I am more of a Deep Space 9 fan, but add more soon. I see Twilight, and Picard getting assimilated by the Borg when 'The Best of Both worlds' came's around.
Why do I suddenly get the feeling that the ponies are the only creatures that the Borg fear (as far as the Collective is capable of such things). I have this mental image of the first Scout Drone calling Pinkie "Anomaly Zero-One" before beaming back and the Cube going to Transwarp as quickly as it could.
