Good solution for what to do with Applebloom, she definitely needed a real lab with a little oversight.

Just finished reading this and got to say, it's a fantastic addition to the Harpflank and Sweets series.
I liked how Derpy got to get some spotlighting, highlighting that she's more than earned her station as M.A.R.E.'s leading commander. She was a delight in how competent she was throughout.
Huh, it seems Snips and Snails have been removed as Trixie's flunkies. I wonder if that's a good or bad thing?
I loved all the asides at the base, seeing how all the characters try to fill in Derpy's horseshoes as she's gone. Red Heart was my favorite by far!
Also nice to see Applebloom get some closure even as a new opportunity opens up for her.
Aw, all the mane six together again... almost. Is that sequel bait I see at the end there?

It fits very well within the Harpflank and Sweets universe, and it should be read by anyone that likes that 'verse. However, it is overly long, and would be well served by some trimming down.
This was a great addition to Harpflank and Sweets and it seems that Derpy can't leave MARE to somepony else for even a day. Although Octavia and BonBon did allright and Lyra at least admitted she was unfit. The reincarnation of the Elements is probably connected to Discord but we'll never find out.
