Thanks for the kind words! I plan on re-doing the first chapters so it becomes anything but stereotypical, as the second act is going to be (I hope).
SO far, the characters are interesting, no "filler" and the pacing is good! All I can really say for the first chapter.
Once I read all 10, I will have my full analysis.
