Uh, Sam and Max are not humans. They are a six foot talking dog and a psychotic rabbit. They're also characters from a series of comics, video games and cartoons, so unlike the generic HiE, there is no element of self-insert here.
In other words this actually bears very little resemblance to a generic HiE. Though apparently from all the downvotes I'm guessing there are not many Sam and Max fans reading here.

First of all, why else do you think I have the Anthro tag on? Second, I think those down votes were because of the first chapter before I noticed it wasn't spaced between paragraphs (My writing program shows me otherwise). It almost always happens when I submit a new story but despite that, it manages to be ha hit. Take a look at the stats of My Little Homie (Maybe read a chapter or two) and you'll see my point. Also, I'm just starting out as a Sam and Max fan and I AM aware of their history.

Hey, dude, I'm not criticizing you, I'm criticizing the guy who said this was a generic HiE. I don't see how it could be remotely considered a generic HiE, or in fact any kind of HiE, when it's a crossover with an anthro fandom and thus far there are no human characters. I'm pretty sure from what I've seen so far that you know your Sam and Max. :-)
