YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES
YOU LITERALLY HAD ME LAUGH TO THE POINT I COULDN'T BREATH AND THOUGHT I FORGOT HOW FOR A SECOND
I'M GOING TO READ THIS SO FUCKING HARD
:rainbowlaugh::yay:

I like this.

I have to say though, I find some of it hard to follow. It's not that bad, it's just enough to be like 'wait, I thought...' The biggest thing that caught me was Ink Pad's role in the beginning. For some reason, giving him a cup of coffee, in my mind, staged him as someone who already worked there, and was completely well and comfortable doing so. As though he was kicked back behind his desk, and sipping his morning coffee. When I started reading that he was interested in a job there, it confused the hell out of me.

Going back and rereading it, Ink was sitting on a bench waiting to be called as a job applicant. I don't know why I didn't pick that up.

Anyway, I like it so far, and I had a feeling the whole check point and no-man's-land stuff came from post-war Germany. Actually really obvious lol.
