With grief and rage engraved in his heart, Spike takes up the mantle of once fallen heroes. But his price is stained with their sins and he fears he will never live up to the expectations he once thought he would, not even for the mare he loves.
Ah am a warrior! Ah will kill mah enemies with mah apples! - Seriously, loved the idea of AJ becoming a support for Spike, because it Twilight got that role it would be cliche. Besides this turn of events was unexpected which is another good thing! Now to plan a party! - I just KNOW you plan something with Pinkie, got my eye on you! This was a little too easy about our favorite party animal simply going back and forth to crystal empire! I have nightmares in Ponyville, I have to use Spike in crystal empire like always! - Threre is something you are planning Inferno, I know you wouldn't let Rarity live if you didn't plan to do something nasty! My mate is a champion now, got a problem? - Spilight! Can't express how happy I am that you included it, it really is great!
I really can't wait for another chapter, this story really got me invested. keep up the good, hard and honest work or the crystal phalanx will come and get both of you! And I demand more DERPY!
Good chapter. I liked how Spike took on the mantle of the Crystal Savior not because he felt obligated or guilty, but because he genuinely cares what happens to the crystal ponies.
hooray for spilight. Great to see Twilight stuck with Spike. That's got to piss her brother off something fierce
"Wise man one said: One who kills is not a monster, one who enjoys killing is......" So Spike your no monster if you want to see a real one I guess mr. Inferno got that covered.... img.4plebs.org/boards/tg/image/1365/75/1365759996605.jpg
Good chapter But I must admit I'm getting a little annoyed with how Spike keeps questioning if he should be counted as a hero
And I get its because he feels like if he enjoyed killing Sombra then he's not a hero
But honestly the only rule you need to follow to be a hero is fight to protect others
So there's no real way to define a hero Like Spike seems to think a hero should be willing to kill but shouldn't enjoy it
While I'm writing an entire story line based on a hero who's entire reason for being a hero is cause he hates bullies and enjoys forcing villains to endur the same pain they've forced on others
Found time to read it and those are my thoughts:
