Lieutenant Bubbles

Nothing yet, but will be coming soon.

A letter from a man whose friend has died to the cast and crew of MLPFiM has unexpected results...

This story is more about a fan of the show, even though a couple of the characters do make an appearance at the end. It is a take on an actual letter I helped a friend write six years ago. Although that was to Piers Anthony, and it was the survivor that was helped, but that makes no difference.

This story was inspired by the story Sing me a Lullaby. By OneTrickPon3.

*******UPDATE*******
In working on the other two short stories, one of them morphed into another full blown epic that will have to wait, the other sadly i couldn't get past 200 words so this it for this line. I've changed the status to reflect the new form of the story.

Keep an eye out for the other story to be titled "The War that ended War" coming soon!

It sounds interesting, but I'm not going to read it. I just don't like sad stuff. That being said, Piers Anthony is an awesome writer. I've been taking a break from it for a little while, but his Xanth series is amazing. Please pardon me for being nosey, and you don't have to answer if you don't want to, I understand, but did your friend get a character in the series? Anyway, thanks for your time.

No, sadly. We didn't get a reply at all from Mr. Anthony, but thats okay. It helped my friend moveon more than anything else.

You big beautiful bastard, I teared up. Only 5 fics have made me do that, and guess what? You just wrote one of them. Congrats!

With that said, reading this is a breath of fresh air and originality, and I salute you for stepping outside the box. Even though it was a little short, I was left very satisfied. I look forward to more in the future. Have a thumb!

265870 Well that stinks that you didn't get a response back, but at least it still helped your friend. In the end, that's the most important thing of all, isn't it? I'm glad to hear that your friend was able move on.

This was a very touching, albeit short, story. It didn't make me tear up, only "To Be An Alicorn" holds that privilege, but it certainly made me feel things. The only ONLY issue I have is this. You do know that Lauren Faust isn't on the team anymore, right? I know that's completely not the point, but I just feel like I should address it.

Thank you for a sad story. It was a pleasure reading it.

This is one of the best stories I've ever read. You, sir, are a wizard. Take all of my internets. They belong to you now. Have some moustaches too. :moustache: :moustache: :moustache: :moustache:

We did apparently get a response. Nobody let me know, since I was the BF mentioned in the letter, and i was still very upset at the time.

No words need to be said to tell how great this was. Silence is the best response because in that silence any and every word can fill that space:eeyup: You my good friend have earned a great deal of my respect.

Why must this make my feels hurt so much...
