Staying with the mares.
A heartwarming moment with Bon Bon.
Why did twilight need to turn in a princess. WHY. Now you were left without a place to stay as you have lived the last couple of months in the library along with the purple mare and her dragon. Now you have to go finding for a place to stay. Tough life.
Walking over to a park bench you sit down laying your backpack next to you and let out a depressed sigh. A mint colored mare walks over to your side and plops herself beside you.. You knew her as Lyra Heartstrings, she always seemed very interested in your habits. to your amusement she’s mimicking the way you sit, it looked quite fun.
“Why are you sitting like that? “You ask holding back laughter.
“I’m testing... This feels quite comfortable.” She responds with a smile.
“Why did you look so sad?” she asks.
“I’m homeless.” you say grunting. “Twilight just had to go and become a princess, leaving me alone here.”
“That’s great! You can live with me and Bon Bon, I’m sure that will be fun!” she says overly enthusiastic.
“Are you sure she’s okay with that?” you ask not wanting to simply walk into somepony’s home without them knowing.
“More than sure, she’ll Love to have you over. Come on let’s go!” She stretches the word love, as she’s tugging at your arm. Standing up you follow Lyra, you have no idea where she lives so she leads the way until she stops at a small house in the middle of ponyville. There is no way we’re going to fit with 3 pe- err ponies? In that house. its way to small.
“Here we are. I think Bon Bon is home by now.” she says knocking on the door. A few moments later it is opened by the yellow mare with bi-colored mane you knew as Bon Bon.
“Hi Lyra and... Anon?” she asks stretching your name as she looked a bit dreamily.
“Hi Bonnie, Anon has nowhere to stay and I was thinking he could stay with us if that’s okay wi-” Lyra is cut off by Bon Bon.
“YES! I-I mean, of course he can. Come in.”She says.
That was actually pretty strange... Why was she so happy all of a sudden? Sure you were friends after you met her at that lake with Lyra some time ago but that’s no reason for being so happy, well never mind, at least you have a place to stay now.
Walking into the house you notice it is bigger than you thought. It had a kitchen, living room, bathroom, two bedrooms and an attic. In the living room there were two couches, one single pony couch and a two-pony couch on the other side of the room was a table surrounded by chairs. Everything looked pretty nice and cozy, you could get used to this very easily.
“So I can stay here for tonight?” you ask.
“You can stay here as long as you want, Anon. I re- I mean we really enjoy your company.” Bon Bon says with an awkward smile.
“Great, thanks girls.” you say pulling them into a group hug. Lyra hugged you both, but Bon Bon only wrapped her hooves around you. The moment ends after several seconds as Lyra had let go of you both, Bon Bon however had other plans, she still held you in her hooves. You were about to speak up but Lyra pulled her off you.
“Eh, sorry about that.” Bon Bon speaks up.
“It doesn’t matter, now if you don’t mind I still have a good book to finish.” you say walking over to the couch and pulling a book out of your backpack. Lyra and Bon Bon simply followed you and when you sit down Bon Bon Immediately scoots over and sits on the couch next to you. Grabbing your book you were about to start reading but you’re interrupted by Bon Bon.
“It’s kind of cold here...” she says inching a little bit closer to you. Looking around you notice a blanket lying next to the couch, you hand it over to her and resume reading.
“Still kind of cold...” she mumbles.
“Hey Lyra do you have any more blankets?” you ask. Before Lyra could answer Bon Bon started again.
“Wait, Anon humans are warm blooded creatures right?”
“Yes, indeed.”
“Well can’t you just...k-keep me warm? “She asks.
“Humans do not possess magic, maybe Lyra knows a heating spell.” you respond. Strange enough she actually looked pretty annoyed now. Did you miss something?
“Never mind.” she says shuffling closer to you and was about to lay her head on your side. You had other plans though.
“Oh, I totally forgot! I ordered some apples and have to get them from sweet apple acres.” you say standing up and walking over to the door. “Bye Ladies.” you say. Lyra gives you a smile but Bon Bon looks seriously irritated now. What are you doing wrong?

The sun was already setting as you arrived back at your new home; you ended up talking a lot more than you wanted with the apple family. Damn that granny has a lot of stories of when she was younger. You knock on the door and moments later it is opened by Lyra, behind her stood Bon Bon staring at you. Why was she being so awkward around me? you thought to yourself as Lyra moves in for a welcome hug, a friendly one with enough space for it to be comfortable. However when she releases you Bon Bon immediately dashes forward into a much more...passionate embrace, as she pressed her whole body flat against your chest hugging you tightly. Lucky for you this time she does release you after a few moments. The three of you walk over to the couch and you sit down on the single pony couch, allowing Lyra and Bon Bon to sit together. You didn't know what, but something was clearly bothering the yellow mare as she lets out an annoyed sigh.
The night is spent talking about your habits back on earth and pony habits here in equestria, soon enough all of you are tired and decided to call it a day.
"So I assume the second room is the guest room?" You ask.
"No, that’s my room." Lyra responds.
"What? Aren't you a couple?" You ask confused.
"What? Nonono, we're both single." Bon Bon responds.
"Ok, I guess I'm going to sleep on the couch them." You say walking over to the 2 pony couch.
"That is too small for you. I-if you w-want you c-could sleep with m-me tonight." Bon Bon offers as a small blush appeared on her face.
"I don't want to be a burden, the couch is fine."
"Nonsense, you're sleeping with me tonight." She says tugging at your arm and pulling you upstairs.
"Bon Bon are you sure that’s a good idea?" Lyra asks.
"I trust Anon. Goodnight Lyra." Is the only thing she responds as she takes you up the stairs and into her room. You wanted to protest, but seeing how frustrated she was today you decide that’s not a good idea. She lays herself on the 2 pony bed and eyes you as to what you were going to do next. So you do what you do every night, you take of your shirt.
"Anon, what are you doing?" She asks with a playful tone as a blush formed on her face.
"I sleep without shirt and pants usually, but seeing that I'm not alone the pants stay on tonight”
"I wouldn't mind if you'd take them off, I'm naked to you know." She says making her blush even deeper.
"I'd rather not, it's a formality." You say laying yourself on her bed and closing your eyes.
"Goodnight Bon Bon." Once again you could hear her grunt.
"Goodnight Anon." She says shuffling closer to you and about to lay her head on your chest. When you realize the lights were still on.
"Oops, forgot the lights." You say standing up out of bed. She turns all red this time, as you could see the fury in her eyes. Quickly you turn off the lights and get back into bed. You could feel her head softly pressed against your chest as you could hear a soft sigh escape her mouth. Slowly you both fall asleep.

The next morning.

Slowly you open your eyes and see Bon Bon almost face to face with you.
"Morning, Anon." She says half closing her eyelids as a small grin appeared on her face,
"Good morning Bon Bon.” you say closing your eyes again. Damn, it was cold here! Back in the library it was always warm in the morning. I Guess twilight did know a heating spell, you think to yourself as you stand up out of the bed, and start your search for your shirt. When you stood up you could feel the eyes of the mare burning through your soul as she gave you a death glare.
“ANON. Stay. Here.” She says in a dead serious tone.
“I'm cold; I’m looking for my shirt.”
“Good, come here.” She says. With caution you move back to the bed. Oh no, Oh no.
When you lay yourself back on bed however she doesn’t do anything bad to you.
“ I’ll keep you warm.” She says moving closer and pressing herself up against you in a hug.
“I guess that works to...” you mumble wrapping your arms around her; it was still cold though as she only warmed up your chest. But she looked so relaxed now, it was way better than seeing her all angry all the time. Suddenly she begins softly nuzzling your neck. Hehe, that tickles. What is this? Some kind of morning ritual? Your thoughts are interrupted by Lyra walking in.
“Hi Bonnie, Hi An- *gasp*. Bonnie you told him?” Lyra asks.
“Tell me what?” you ask curious.
“N-nothing.” Bon Bon responds. “Let’s go get breakfast.” she says.
The three of you get out of the and as the two mares go downstairs you still have to go to the bathroom to brush your teeth. After you’re done, you walk back downstairs and are greeted by the 2 mares sitting on the couches, Lyra on the single one and Bon Bon on the two pony couch.
Bon Bon taps an open space next to her hinting you to sit down, you have other plans though. You go to the kitchen first to see what they have to eat.
When you’re in the kitchen you could hear hoofsteps behind you. Turning around you're greeted by Bon Bon staring at you. Ah crap, she looks annoyed again.
“Anon, are you messing with me? “ She asks as she keeps stepping closer, making you step back.
“Eh, No I have no idea what you mean.” you say now getting uncomfortable.
“Are you really that oblivious of this?” She asks now cornering you.
“O-of what, did I do something w-wrong?” you ask. Instead of answering she moves steps even closer to you until you’re completely pressed against the kitchen wall.
“Bon Bon I’m S-” you’re cut off by her lips pressing against yours. You’re left mind blown. what the? Never have you dared think of a pony in this way, but now that you think of it... It did feel good...
“Ok, now let’s try this again.” she says going back to the main room and sitting on the couch, once again she pats the open spot next to her. You just follow and place yourself on the couch as well, at least you know what she wanted this time when she laid her head on your chest. Slowly you pass your hand through her mane and grab her in an embrace as she presses her body against your chest.
“ *gasp* Does he know now?” Lyra asks once again.
“Yes, Finally.” she says nuzzling into your cheek. You could hear a happy sigh escape her mouth as she moves in for another kiss. After the moment ends she lays her head back on your chest. “It was about time...”
Staying here could turn out to be much more fun than I thought…
