I'm going to be honest. I'm not much of a fan of second person. On the other hand, I found the premise and perspective to be very unique. The romance was a tad sudden, but at least you didn't turn it into a clopfic. In all, very well done.

That was a fantastic story. I don't cry much, and I didn't, but I could feel them sheen over. When you can make an emotional connection with just your ideas, you've done something amazing. Top notch story.

As someone who has hearing problems, I really enjoyed this.

While OctaviaxVinyl is still my favorite, I would really like to see a continuation of a pairing like this.  It's unique and could allow for some interesting conflict.

In all honesty, as soon as I read "A bed with white linen sheets" I scrolled down, saw "USE ME" and sort of gave up on it, closed the window and everything. But at the time I had absolutely nothing else to do, so I came back and read it, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, it felt, very happy, joyful, not so much as lustful as I imagined.

Very enjoyable, I'll be watching you for more.

I kind of like how the protagonist's gender remains anonymous, so it's all reader's interpretation about who the deaf pony is.

This is the first story with a 2nd person perspective that I've read and enjoyed. You handled it brilliantly, and I really like how you use the character's disability to the advantage of your storytelling. In short. Pure. Bucking. Win.

Alright, you're getting onto a list on which only 3 people currently reside, so take this as a sign of how much I loved this story and want to see more fantastic work like this.  But I'm going to click on that little eye.

I felt my heart rise and fall during the part where he said to find another pony. You put so much emotion into that scene it felt awkwardly amazing! I can't really describe it.

I guess it's because I've said something like that to someone that was special to me too :/ too bad I wasn't special to them :(

I always found something endearing about the heartbeat, it's calming all telling and knowing nature just seems to be one of the best things in life. Now put that into a coherent story with a great...er...plot...and make one of the most smile inducing things ever concieved. BOOM.

Really well done, as far as perspective in particular, though there are some grammatical errors sprinkled throughout, mostly toward the beginning.  Also, you occasionally slip from present to past tense, which is confusing.  Anyhay, great story!

This is was a wonderful story. You've handled it very tastefully and in such a moving way, thank you. My cousin is deaf and plays the saxophone and has told me many times that the feel of the music is very powerful to her.

That was... beautiful. Wow. I was a bit hesitant because, well, it's not everyday you see a story about a deaf protagonist.

My doubts have been put to rest, however. This was amazing. Great job!

No wonder this was above the norm. You're the same author from "Number One". I had to make an account just to tell you how awesome you are! ... Well that, and I would eventually need one anyway.

I'll admit, I consider these sensual fictions a guilty pleasure. I know they are overly cheesy, not very well put-together, and usually just stories that amount to "Hi we just met let's clop" - and that's fine! That's what I expect to see. Of course, there's that occasional rare gem that goes beyond that. It's a sensual fic, but good enough to warrant as a normal fic. That's not to say that sensual fic are not normal... er, I'll just drop that.

Anyway! Number One was a pleasure to read. The characterizations were spot-on with the Mane 6 (ESPECIALLY Rainbow Dash. Great job with that breakdown of hers. Actually believable considering what we've seen from her,) and the "jerk" was a well thought-out character. Yeah, cliche tragic back story but you handled it very well! (I usually stop to roll my eyes when I realize it's going that direction - never did once reading through it.)

Moving on; now we have this story here. This is actually the first time I've read about a deaf pony, protagonist or not. I mean, no fingers - no sign-language, so they always have to resort to pen-and-paper? Ouch. Speaking of which, I loved the notepad images you used. They added to the immersion pretty nicely.

The overall "theme" of the fic was genius. Vinyl, music, feeling, bass - meshed together perfectly. Not much else I can say about it sadly - it's already been said and I can't offer criticism because I think I read too fast to spot anything wrong! (I swear, my immersion puts me too much into a trance-like state when I'm reading - I'm practically watching a movie!) I'll leave that part to the professionals.

Btw, I was listening to a recording of Simpson Timber Railroad locomotive number 1200. It downshifted from high gear to low gear a moment before you wrote "You begin to feel Vinyl slowing down". It was kind of an interesting expirience, the horn, the engine whirring, and the story entwined perfectly! A job well done, if you ask me!

The situation in this story is just perfect i

DANGIT!  Why does everypony seem to be just DEAD SET on making me tear up?    I had just gotten over that last fic, too.    Oh well, at least this time it was happy tears instead of "Fluttershy might die before expressing her love" tears.. again.  

Well, that's adorable.  It almost made me feel emotions.  Quite a feat, really.

This second person work is very special. There's a lot of things that didn't see coming, and every few paragraphs surprised me one way or another. The resource of putting notes with the images is just one of the things that catched me of guard while quick scrolling this story, and even if it's very special and well done, there's more thing that meet the eye or, well, the fast scroll down, in this fanfic. It's a superb work. It's short, yes, but something's tells me you been working on this for a lot of time. And if you didn't, well, you are more talented than I actually think. Sorry for the bad English!

i really like this story. it was written like a real romance novel with a little tease at some "loving" but not turning into a hardcore clopfic, i would really like to know where i could read more stories like this.

i was confused at first, being familiar with 2nd person well enough, i was beginning to think it was simply a story without dialogue, but the concept of a deaf pony was brilliant. and as well leaving the character gender neutral was a great addition to portray what you wanted the audience to see, or, unless they opposed, let the audience see it as themselves. I know i could have seen that as being be which i thoroughly enjoyed, one big difference though, i don't sip liqeur,

I've seen stories of Vinyl being the deaf or mute one, but never the other pony being the one to suffer from that kind of thing. It was certainly a change of pace that was very welcome, and I certainly enjoyed reading about it.
