Great read, I liked it. The ancient ship made me think of the gardens from final fantasy 8.
Always glad to see stories with gryphons and this one didn't disappoint. It was quite fresh actually to have gryphons without the seemingly omnipresent theme of wars with Equestria. And the fact that it was gryphons that were first to accept a changeling into their society was simply awesome.
I'd kinds like to read more about these characters, seems like it'd be an intriguing tale.

I will say this, I do still have a fondness for these characters. I like the mix of personalities, and there's enough going on to lead to some interesting places, though I never actually planned any of those directions out.
Unfortunately, since I joined an RP forum a little while ago, I haven't done a lot of standalone writing lately.
I have one or two ideas I would want to try first, but perhaps sometime in the future I will revisit these guys.
