Twilight's Letter to Princess Celestia

Dear Princess Celestia,

This letter isn't about the magic of friendship. Instead, it's about what I have been thinking and worrying about recently. Since I've became an Alicorn, I've been wondering about immortality...

One of the lessons you gave me when I was just a filly was on immortality. Immortality is when one gets to live forever without aging. You taught me how, you are immortal yourself. I, now also possess this power, feels guilty and somewhat evil. I will keep on living while watching all of my friends, family, and all that I cared for, pass away. Every time I think about this, my heart aches.

I know this was a gift from you. I still remember that day. When a regular unicorn such as myself became an Alicorn. I was so confused at that time, even a little scared. All of my friends were surprised by my new pair of wings. Then the next day, I was officially claimed as a princess. Everything happened so fast that I couldn't even keep my hooves still. Making you proud of me had always been my primary objective and when I saw how proud you were at that day, it made me feel like the luckiest pony in Equstria.

When you sent me here to Ponyville, I was mad at you. For not listening to my letter and to send me away from you. You have always been like a mother to me and always will. Sending me to Ponyville is like saying to me,"I don't need you anymore." With my emotions all piled up, I decided I will take care of business in Ponyville and return to Canterlot. At that time only Canterlot feels like my home because you are there. In Ponyville, I met 5 ponies who would change my life forever. They were (you already know, but I will still list them) Applejack, Rainbowdash, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie and would later on become my best friends. We venture off into the Everyfree Forest to obtain The Elements of Harmony to defeat Nightmare Moon. We used to Elements against her and changed her back to Luna. Your little sister. The reunion was so beautiful and I'm glad that I was the one who made it possible with my friends.

Back at Ponyville, you allowed me to stay and study with my new friends. I was happy, but also afraid. I was afraid that you would find another pupil and forget about me. With this thought, I constantly send letters to you about my studies to show you that I'm still loyal even when I'm far away from you. Every night before bed I think about you. Sometimes even dreamed about you. Every time you are planning a visit, I always made sure it would be perfect.

On my brother's wedding, I was heartbroken when you didn't believe me about Cadence. You, who knows me better than any pony just betrayed me. It felt like the end of the world. Streams of tears came out from my eyes. Words can't explain the pain I felt.

The day I became an Alicorn began with a disaster. The destinies of my best friends were altered and it was all my fault. Their cutie marks were switched around. I don't know what will I ever do if I didn't fixed it?

You, Princess Celestia was the biggest inspiration to me when I was a filly. And you changed my life. I wouldn't have met my best friends if it hadn't been for you. I wouldn't had learn magic because most of all, friendship is magic. Then I realized, you are my gift. The best gift I ever got and will ever get. I've always wanted to say this Princess Celestia, I love you...

Pretty good but some sentence flaws and the letter seems to flow from one topic to the next without much build up and without tying into the other ones.

This is also kind of a story idea that's been done to death.
