I thank you for the positive feedback. I had to try and replicate the style in which Kuromi wrote her story to depict Shining's perspective to try and make it fluid with her writing. I strongly recommend reading her story "I found Love" to fully be up to speed. Because the story will start taking off and referencing the time they spent together. especially with their interaction in coming chapters. that's about as much of a spoiler as I will allow myself to give

Its sounding wonderful so far. I love the way you picked up right where I left off. I felt like I was reading my own story for a bit, with an extra scene I forgot I had written. I do that sometimes when I use multiple devices to write on.
You seem to have characterized everyone well, and I can see a lot of emotion in your writing. I can't wait to see what happens with Shining Armor in training. I regret not writing more about him, but its great you are able to. One thing I suggest is instead of saying 'brush with death' for Cadance's heart illness, is just say illness. Then even if someone hasn't read my story they might make more sense into it. Not that I don't want people to read it... hehe.

"continuation" is a good word to use. I am also re-reading "I found love" both because I have valuable experiences I can use from that story, and I just love it.

My unit is currently getting ready for a field exercise and a ruck march so my preparations have kind of put the second and third chapter on hold for the time being. bear with me as I continue to steal free time to work on this for you guys.

thank you for the positive feedback. I'm still working on chapters 1 and 2 whenever i have free time. Unfortunately, I don't get as much as I would like. I have a 3 week leave that will be starting in a couple of weeks, so hopefully I will have more for those that have enjoyed this.

Hello all, I want to extend my most sincere apologies. I've been assigned to the 101st Airborne Division and have been getting settled in and currently in the field training up for combat scenarios. I will be back in garrison at the end of this month and will be finishing chapter one and also getting chapter two cranked out ASAP

I was recently medically discharged from the Army due to injuries from deployment. I'll be getting back to work on this and hopefully with the help of the wonderful kuromi of I Found Love for her fantastic characterization of cadence. I've been stuck in a rut and from my life experiences whether they were my recent divorce, my discharge, or my relocation to Florida; I'm slowly finding the inspiration to write again.
