With rhymes could come poems, notorious for double meanings. You've grabbed my curiosity though gave away the villain a bit early I think. Making a reader really start to doubt an established character is half the fun and twice as rewarding to the experience.

You're right. I had originally intended the rhymes to just seem off, perhaps pointing towards Zecora, but realized too late that he was the only one that talked like that...

So far, I've kept quiet, too busy moving onto the next chapter to stop and leave a comment, but now I'm here to give you my honest opinion.
I love it. This is defiantly a new personal favourite of mine. The hole story is a strong, world shaking piece of literature with an excellent execution. Frankly, I'm depressed by what little attention this have gotten and if I had known about it yesterday, I would have gotten it submitted to Twilight's Library.

As for its lack of attention, I actually understand why- it never felt like it was one of my best. I know I did as much as I could with it, but it just couldn't feel right. Either way, I'm satisfied with the final product despite its low views and I think I've done some better writing here, anyways.
