This fic is set in the universe of Equestria At War.

Death, profanity, violence, and sex tags are because I have no idea where this story might end up- they are not the main feature of the fic.

The Great War staggers on, but things are looking up for the United Ponies' Alliance. Vanhoover has just been liberated, the Crystal Empire is pushing into Yakyakistan, and Stalliongrad has just joined the fight against Chrysalis and her war clique. Meanwhile, on less violent theaters of the war...

S.M.I.L.E (Special Military Intelligence League of Equestria) has a problem. Specifically, two problems.

1. Their changeling agent infiltrating the so-called Great Queen's Tower has been discovered and captured.
2. There are no more available changeling agents to infiltrate the Queen's Tower.

Luckily for them, a new recruit has just finished training- former Vanhoover cop Agent Cold Strike. She's competent, deadly (well, she will be now that she's out of training!), and good at getting dirty work done. Minor issue- she's a unicorn.

It's time to get creative.

Will Agent Cold Strike manage to blend into the experts of blending in? Will she find what she's looking for? What is she looking for? An end to the war? A promotion? LOVE!?!?!!? That's for you to decide!

As you can tell, this one is going to have a goofy, all-around lighthearted tone, but the decisions made by the collective hivemind of the comment section will still have significant effects on the story- a series of misinformed decision could lead to a quick ending! Choose wisely.

The available options will be laid out as a series of multiple choices at the end of the chapter, marked A, B, etc. Vote simply by declaring one of the letters in the comments (along with any other observations you may have). These votes will be tallied at every Tuesday, at 12:00 PM (midnight) at GMT-0/UTC-0. A chapter with no votes will default to A (which will be the most 'reasonable'/safest option by default). (This story was a commission for/request from MasonKlusek. Takes place in an AU during and after "The Mean Six" for obvious reasons.)

Twilight and her friends are suddenly made aware of the fact that their strange camping trip has really been the work of Queen Chrysalis. And that it's all part of her plan to try to steal the Elements of Harmony and use them against their original bearers.

Alerted to this plot, Twilight and her friends arrive in time to thwart it. Chrysalis then flees, abandoning her own creations, who are left to the mercy of the very ponies they're meant to be copies of.

Instead of destroying the clones, however, Twilight proposes that she and her friends teach their copies about the virtues that make up the Elements of Harmony. It's her hope that this will get the clones to change their ways, but will it work as Twilight intends?

This story is a sequel to Until the Very Sunrise

This description contains spoilers. It is really recommended to track back to the Mending Shards first — but then, you can try and go as is too.

Events of the first novel came and went. The world settled in, under a single Rose Moon for now.

This story is a sequel to A New Ending

This is a soft reboot/rewrite of my Endingverse story Endings and Beginnings, which I have put on hold for the present.

After the devastating invasion of Equestria by human turned Emperor Jason Wright, the truth about the reasons for Jason's actions has begun to come out. Ponyville has been completely wiped off the map, its once cheery buildings reduced to rubble, and with it, the happiness and joy of everypony there once they began to realize just how they were all to blame for it.

The Elements of Harmony have barely spoken to one another since that time, all wallowing in their own grief and misery. Pinkie has left Ponyville and has lost her smile, Rainbow Dash hasn't flown since the invasion, Rarity refuses to speak about it to anypony, Applejack hardly leaves her farm, Fluttershy never visits Ponyville and is only seen wandering the edges of the Everfree Forest, mourning the loss of one of her closest friends and many of her animal friends as well, and Twilight has been working tirelessly to help rebuild all of Ponyville. They've hardly spoken since that day, and their friendships are all but over.

Meanwhile, across the ocean, a second human has arrived in the dilapidated city of Gryphonstone. Unable to visit the land of Equestria, which had been his dream, and after accidentally recovering an item that holds special significance to the gryphons, Gregory Graystone settles in and makes friends and allies in the crumbling city, some expected and others unexpected.

As the months pass, questions remain. How will the world react to the presence of a second human? How will Equestria recover from the invasion of Canterlot by the changelings? Will Jason Wright find out about this second human?

I would like to go back to Endings and Beginnings at some point and change things, starting with a certain arc, but I wanted to do a parallel story with some elements changed.

Some chapters may seem very similar to the original but I may or may not have changed things around or added something to it.

Gummy came to the conclusion that he lives a cursed life. Troubled, he turned to the only one who may be able to mend the issue. Boulder hopes some sort of resolution --- desired or not --- can be reached through Socratic dialogue.
