Vinyl Scratch is alone. Her parents are gone and she's estranged herself from the rest of her family years ago. Now she's fallen on hard times; she spends her days drinking, her nights partying and the intervening time in trouble with the guards.

After one too many run-ins with the authorities she is assigned a personal guard to help her get her life back on track. The only question is: can she truly be helped, or is she far too gone at this point?

Princess Cadance has some problems in her sovereignty over the Crystal Empire. For one thing, she isn't even a crystal pony. Another thing is that the crystal ponies would much rather have the former King Sombra rule over them... despite previously reigning with an iron hoof and treating the populace like whipping mules. To prevent civil war, Cadance has a brilliant idea to ensure her bid for the throne while pleasing the people: have an election.

And it's any wonder ponies don't have democracy.

Subtle Strike was one of the most timid pony you'll every meet. Always in the background. So when he joined the army, he thought that he was going to be safe. Nothing ever happens, and if anything did, the elements would take care of it. So, you can imagine how happy he was when we was sent to the middle of nowhere, The Crystal Empire. But King Sombra came back. No one knew how, but he was back, and once again, he is trying to take over the Crystal Empire. Much more inclined to a peaceful resolution, Subtle Strike, with his best friend, Flash Sentry, go for peace talks. You could say it was successful.

His girlfriend, Pinkie, takes note of his depression and tries to find out what's wrong. When Golden doesn't tell her anything, she decides she's needs, "Reinforcements". Pinkie gathers her friends and tells them that something is wrong with Golden.

It's up to Twilight, Pinkie, and all of their friends to help Golden out of his depressed state and rekindle the holiday spirit that barely lingers in his heart.

Cozy Glow is visiting Aita for winter vacation, but gets a pleasant surprise when she gets invited along with Aita's other friends to join Twilight and her friends and family in the Sibling Supreme, a competition whose goal is to weave through a flurry of obstacles in Canterlot Castle to obtain the titular crown to be.

Long ago in a deep part of the cold, mysterious mountains North of the Crystal Empire, an old pony of legends sat down and wrote a code of Friendship, the foundation of what Equestria primarily stands for. This code was written in ancient pony language, by the light of a candle and quill. After forging in 20 papers of his quill writing of the code, he dug a hole somewhere in the area he was and buried it deep in the snowy, icy mountains, where because of old death he fell into the freezing snow next to his book, and drifted peacefully into the next realm.

Now, almost 2,000 years later, the majesty of Equestria, Princess Celestia and her sister Luna, have been unconcerned about the book, until a recent message, sent and shared with only the sisters and Twilight Sparkle and her friends, stated the fall of Equestria was coming with a big war. Dive in and help them with the search for The Equestrian Code!

Spin-off story to "Sonic Generations: Friendship is Timeless", taking place between chapters fifteen and sixteen during the train ride to Canterlot.

Everyone knows that Sonic, Tails, Spike, the Main Six, Shining Armor, and Princess Cadance set out for and arrived at Canterlot aboard the Friendship Express to find and stop the monster that had intertwined two worlds and their fates together, but what happened along the way? While Princess Celestia and Princess Luna went on ahead and prepared for their arrival, Equestria and Earth's heroes had to go through more adventures in order to get to Equestria's capital city. Now, the story of their lesser known adventures shall be told.

So climb aboard the Friendship Express, grab a seat, and get comfortable. It's going to be quite a ride.

Welcome to the Kesho Saga. What you are about to read is a story about the son of King Sombra, Kesho, going through an adventure to master his newly acquired powers and stop three rogue villains from obtaining them for themselves. The way he'll do it however, is up to you and many others.
