The chapter is done, guys. It's about 20k words long. I worked on it throughout the holidays and it was a real pain. It still needs to go through some editing though, so there's that delay, and my prereader is really busy. It's her masters class next week. So, I do hope I'm going to be able to post it soon, but it might take a bit more time, especially considering the length. And heck, I'm flip-flopping on the title as well.

Twenty one thousands of them. It's a monster.

As you can imagine, it wraps up more or less every secondary plotline I can think of, and pushes the fic into its climax the next chapter or so (I'd say the next, but damn those chapter lengths make me think twice). Almost cut it in half again, but not this time. Get yourselves some snacks and drinks, my beta has it in her hands. Though, give her a chance and some time, it was something like 50 pages in Word.

Holy crap, it's been too long. Way too long.

I'm sorry, dear readers, for this taking so long. Things just don't let up, ever, it seems. Well, okay, they did, this weekend and I've been working on it in what free-time I had.

Anyway, the chapter is coming, probably tomorrow or the day after. Hopefully, it will live up to your hopes. From that point on, I am promising you that shit will hit the fans, each chapter until the end of the fic. It's the last stretch for the finish starting.

I've been thinking for some time now that I probably need to change the tags and possibly a few other things about the story. Second opinions showed that at least grammar needs to be looked over again, mostly in the case of punctuation (how I look forward to 200k words or so or rereading to spot mistakes... ). So, at the very least, I thought other aspects could be modified to better fit the story.
