The chapter is written. It needs editing. The epilogue is more or less done too, needs a reread.
This is it, people. Keep your eyes open in the next few days, it's going to update soon. I know I said I would do the others first, but I got bitten by the writing bug, and I could not let so much time pass between updates again. Not this close to the end. so, about 14k words will be aimed at you. Then, Sam's story will be over.
...This feels so strange.
I've been doing this for almost three years, HOLY F--!
This wasn't a bad run.
So Kawaii!!!
So, basically...
Wham, Bam, Thank You, Sam? :)
I know the epilogue is going to be good.
Wait!
Did you just said that there is another chapter before the epilogue?
Nice!
3717761 How poetic, and yes.
3718090 3718391 Guys... don't you get it? The last chapter and the epilogue in a fic I tagged tragedy... It's not a happy chapter! Bittersweet, maybe? It all depends on which character you ask.
3718537 Hey! That is what life is I'm afraid.
Sides' after I had to answer the question "Is the ending a good one or a bad one" about 1984, I find that relativizing this kind of thing is rather easy.
Aaaand, it doesn't change the quality of your writting nor our enthusiasm at reading what you will write. Wich was the point of our comments. Or at least mine.
3718551 Point. I'm not going to pretend I can compete with one of the forefathers of Dystopia. But still. Sometimes it makes me wonder if I'm truly the one that enjoys Sam's many torments the most.
3718537 I love bitter sweet ending, it makes the good parts so much more fun to cherish ,

Hmmm.
Not sure if it is me either. I do enjoy your depiction of it, it is poignant. But what is depicted, the suffering in itself... not so much. I tend to empathise with the characters of thing I read. So in this case, Sam's struggle provoke a lot of emotion to stir; it fuel anger, spark rebellion, cause depression, at time give hope... Pleasure is not part of it.
And in the end, I'm waiting for confirmation, but I can't shake the feeling that the last part of the last chapter happened in a second. Ventus is going to blink, realise he is still on the beach and probably going to be punished for is action. Ventus is going to find peace, mostly, but by making him let go of is chaotic part, Pandora and Harmony basically killed Sam, or what made Sam in Ventus.
So I doubt I will enjoy what will be depicted, but I know I will enjoy how well you will write it. I will enjoy how real it will seems.
