So some time early last year, I was contacted by someone who wanted to turn Mood Wings into a full blown book - in the style of Mood Wings itself - text and art, in the manner of a scientific journal of sorts, but for a fic. Due to financial reasons, it never came to light, but a bunch of art did come out of this, so I figured I might post it for you all. When I ask artists to draw feathermarking, I give them complete creative freedom to put them in whatever pose, give them whatever reactions, settings, etc, so that they can showcase their own 'image' of what feathermarking is. That tends to give great results, and so far most pics have all had their own little thing that made them special.

I think though that Silfoe has just taken the cake here.

No, seriously, what? I've seen it fluctuate from 30th to 80th, and the rankings for the top 100 tends to be crazy.... But 6th? Waaaat.

Yes, I still live! I still /want/ to write, but actually getting the time to do so is hard! (or the feeling of wanting to write when I do have time).

Other than that, i am still alive! Busy with work, changed schedules somewhat... Still hard to summon the desire to write, though I've started outlining the next few Just A Couple Of Ponies chapters in greater detail. I do still plan to finish that!

It's a fairly hefty project and with the fairly hefty commission scale, there is a pretty large payment they're willing to offer to do this. Almost all the details would be hashed out with the commissioner. Art required would be of varying levels: Sketch, black and white with shading, and some colors.

I never expected that one of my stories would get this much love. Glad it's this one, though. There's still a thing or two in it I'd tweak to improve it slightly (mainly reducing one part that's a little too telly, rather than showy), but I'm proud of it.
