You guys remember Rain without Rainbows? That interesting three-year foray into mentality and virtue that I kept raving about? Well, I'm not quite done raving. There are several things that deserve proper explanations, and I intend to spend some time to do just that.
Tonight, I managed to sit down with my esteemed co-author, Cyros Lugoth. I got to the point of asking for his blessing on a potential sequel to Rain without Rainbows (as has been mentioned several times before). While my past answers haven't changed - that a sequel has always been intended - I've got some bad news for those who want one. Myself included.
* I've also collected a few choice scenes on my "cutting room floor," as it is, that I intend to share as an additional chapter here on FIMfic. Right now, I still need to visit these scenes, mark them up appropriately, and make sure they stand to make a lick of sense, so these deleted scenes won't see any views until after. They'll be coming soon.

Part B: Because I'm tired of looking at this thing.
Alright, the so-named Part B of Kindred Spirits is up and running, bringing the total completion of the chapter to 7/8ths. Read it, shout at me, demand better timing, yadda yadda. All I know for sure is I'm eager to get this project wrapped up and move on to bigger fish.

Seriously guys.
I'm just gonna stop trying to 'schedule' my crap and worry more about making what I can as SOON as I can. It's bad enough I've got RwR as a two-year-plus project with months of hiatus at a time, but now I'm struggling with the FINAL SCENE in the chapter and I'm getting sick of hitting walls.
One of my fellow staff members dared me to do a dramatic reading of the notoriously bad fanfiction My Immortal. I accepted the challenge.
I had NO IDEA what I was getting in to. But I'm not one to back away from a good challenge. Not until I get my feet wet, anyway.
It's already known that I have a selection of filler material in the works for Rain without Rainbows, which I affectionately dub Asides. While some are slated to be seen here on FIMfic, others are meant to be exclusive for the Prestige Edition, adding to the experience gained from it. But lately I've been debating the best way to go about it when it comes to all of these side-stories.
Because people hate duckface (myself included)
I just recently realized that my blog posts have been sitting at 99. We can't have that, can we? So to break away from all my not-writing and trying-to-write and the occasional will-write-but-not-about-what-I-want-to-write, here's an all-encompassing update in the shenanigans of Leoshi.
FIRST OFF:
Specifically for those loyal few who have been waiting (alongside me, in fact) for RwR news, I'm going to leak a brief passage of the revised seventeenth chapter. The chapter itself is undergoing a revision, and I'm pushing through the fourth out of six scenes. It's going to be a long one as well (first draft was approx. 7000 words), so I hope that will help you look forward to it.
