It took forever, but I got all the feedback I wanted for Sunny Days, and I rewrote everything the way I like it. Now, all that's left is to edit the remaining chapters, of which there are four left. (Plus a short epilogue) It might not look like much, but it's a pretty big milestone for me. I will try to release the chapters as fast as I can, but both the friend who helps me edit and I work full time jobs, so the pace should be about the same.

Some of you may have noticed that I removed the "Sad" and "Adventure" tags from A Dream of Sunny Days' description. I also shortened the description. This was mainly done to streamline the description and make the story more appealing at first glance. The adventure and sad elements are still there. I simply consider that they're secondary to other aspects. Over time, tags were added and it made the presentation a bit of a mess.

I don't really have a way to prove it, but according to the number of comments each chapter receives and the feedback I got from multiple readers, I think it's fair to say that Rarity is my most popular POV character. She was probably one of the most challenging to write, but also the most fun, especially at the end. There's a lot more of her scenes coming that I really like.

No major changes here, I mostly fixed punctuation and made a few sentences flow better. As with Chapter 1, I hope that this will be the last time I touch it. I also reworked both the first Rarity and Rainbow Dash chapters, but I want one of my proofreaders to take a quick look before I update them.

I'm also hoping that I can release another chapter soon. Fluttershy is next, and you guys will get an explanation for the end of the last chapter.

I just finished writing A Dream of Sunny Days. It's taken me around a year and a half to do it, but all the first drafts are finished. This doesn't mean that I'm done though, far from it. There are still a lot of chapters that have yet to go through my proofreaders. I'll probably end up rewriting parts of it. At the very least I'll have to fix things up. Still, the story is on paper.

I was talking to a friend recently, and the topic of long fanfics came up. We talked about what works, what doesn't, and why so many readers seem to dislike them. Two major reasons came out. The first one is that a lot of longer stories are abandoned by their author before completion. The second is lack of planning on the part of the author. A lot of multi-chapters stories have little to no plan, so they eventually lose themselves, getting confused in plot holes and diverging storylines.
