It's been too long since I did this; but, for the first time this year, I'm ready to show off my first draft of the next chapter of Necromantic. It's largely a filler chapter, just setting the stage for future things, so it will probably be pretty weak even for my first drafts. But, the usual rules apply; reply here, and I'll send you the Gdoc link in a PM.

I... honestly never expected to get to this, but the proof is pretty obvious.

Well, I know I said I'd get the chapter done by the end of the month, and... I didn't.

I could toss out excuses, but really, it's just down to me simply failing to stick to anything resembling a schedule. Still, I do have it finished, and -- if I can get some help with editing -- I should be able to get the chapter up by the end of the week. So... any takers? And, again, I'm sorry for my failure.

No, this isn't another whiney blog post fishing for sympathy, or a depressing rant about my lack of self-esteem, so don't worry about those.

I'm making this post to ask you, the people who take time out of their lives to read the stuff I write, where you feel my work is lacking or could be improved so that I might give you a better product. So, I want honest criticism or even just generic advice here. What parts of what I do could stand to be bettered?

I'll be working on this is in the background while other stuff happens. Once it's done, I'll post it for real and start adding chapters one at a time. That should be a relief for everyone who hates how long it takes me to update Necromantic.

Okay, after a long delay from having to rewrite the chapter into something I'm happier with; it's finally done.

Okay... this is basically something that I've been wanting to do for a while, but could never actually figure out the proper way to handle it. It's a bit of lore that's part of the main conceit I've held with regards to my most successful story, but will likely never find a way to work into the narrative proper, and don't have the time to try and turn into an actual story on it's own.
