Disney's oldest and most adorable couple, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, celebrate 94 years together. Not only that, we'll be celebrating a bigger birthday next year when Disney hits 100.

Sarah's our only cat currently. I saved her from certain death in 2012 when I found her as a tiny kitten on the side of a farm road while I was bicycling. She was severely injured. Something had bitten her and given her serious wounds and she'd somehow clung to life for days or maybe a week or two; and she was barely still alive, struggling to drag herself over to me and crying out with the last of her strength. She was nothing but skin and bones, and that night would have been the first
I was writing a blog post about one subject, and in the middle I had an epiphany about an entirely different subject. I'm putting the former on hold so I can write the latter first.
this turned out to be rather long, so I sure hope you're interested in FANTASY MICE. not Fluttershy's mice.
SQUARRIORS, by Ashley Witter and Ash Maczko
I haven't seen this before. huh. huh?
so basically, humans are gone, and the intelligent animals fight each other with swords and politics. very gritty.
I haven't read it beyond a few preview pages. the advertising doesn't convince me it's my kind of thing anyway. they could pick a better name, at least.
Out of This World is officially complete! Thank you all so much for reading the story. If you haven’t finished it yet, go and finish it so you don’t get spoiled. I’m going to talk about a bunch of stuff that I had in mind when writing this story, so if it gets rambly, forgive me. Also, if you have any questions about the story, feel free to comment below, as I am more than happy to answer anything you throw at me.
Concept:
Microsoft Garage's "Mouse Without Borders" is amazing.
So, you know how I have my main PC and my Surface Go?
Normally, I have both set up on my desk, and have to switch between using the mouse and keyboard on my main PC and the keyboard cover of my Surface.
I'm so happy with the reboot of Danger Mouse. Almost everything works, they've managed to update it technically without losing the charm of the original, the voices are right -- and it couldn't possibly be American. Not that I have anything against cartoons from the western side of the Atlantic, obviously, but DM should not be one of them. I blogged a little while back about how I wished there were blind reactions to European cartoons. Well, if anyone's looking for one to do,
A series of snippets all set under a morning's sunrise. It was a delight to do a reading on it - be sure to check out Shaslan's other works!
That's right! Steamboat Willie hit public domain today! And in the states, too!
So be sure to draw or depict Mickey, Girl Mickey, & Black Pete exactly as in that first cartoon, except the huge~ ccks you designed to be ~exotic~ or whatever, and those rabid jerks at Disney can only grit their teeth now!
Three day weekend for me this week, so I'm going to make the most of it!
By staying indoors and eating till I puke.
Below the break, warm up by chasing after Winter.
The blog post in which VitalSpark creates a new meme which will sweep the Internet.
Just for those of you interested in games, I thought I'd point out a new one I found. (It's on both GoG and Steam.) Here's the trailer.

This game is called "Ghost of a Tale", and it's a rpg you play as a adorable little mousy! It's kinda really really Redwall-ish.
I was just rewatching The Great Mouse Detective and got a thought, what would crossover with it MLP be like, Fluttershy would obviously one of the focal characters due to her ability to understand and speak with animals. I would like to see a story like that, I haven't seen a story of that nature. But that got me thinking, why are some crossovers not done? Being lesser known is a rather obvious, and rather poor, excuse. I like to think the more obscure stuff through a partial lens of
I have mentioned I've had a girlfriend for over 4 months,... right?
Anyway last night she watched Labrinth while I was helping her husband clean (she's disabled and we're poly) and later she said good night and I wished her sweet Goblin King-free dreams and if any do show up, may she kick them in the nards, and she responded with this:
