Some Personal Statistics for 2014 · 2:48am Jan 8th, 2015
Alright, so I've mentioned previously that I have a creativity Twitter account where I'm keeping track of my words.

This is a follow-up to Author heat maps, which is a follow-up to Author clusters question.
In "Author clusters question", I wrote about finding clusters of authors on fimfiction using data on who followed them. What I'm going to show you now is less sophisticated, but visually easier to grasp. Actually I did this first, back in November. See that earlier post to explain the derivation of my measure m2(A,B), a measure of distance between authors.
Well, not statistics per se, but mathematics. With some unexpected conclusions.
It started yesterday, when Fylifa, who had been asking me to figure out a way to compare the popularity of different ships based on the Fimfarchive dataset – something that remains a puzzle, because FimFiction does not have shipping tags, and figuring out which ships a particular story espouses from text alone is nontrivial – came up with one herself.
Remember my post about the Friendliest Fleet and shipping mathematics? I got news and further adventures in statomancy and logistics!
I didn’t expect this project would run on for three posts, yet here it is, the next installment! Continuing on from Modernized Friendliest Fleet I can now offer you a complete listing of all known pony (and some not so pony) pairing ships, (with caveats) rated by upvotes-per-day. (with caveats…)
Continuing from Lloyd’s Register of Shipping, now with fewer caveats!

It's the tenth of the month, so you know what that means. That's right! It's time for another in-depth analysis of clop!
