So, um, here's where things currently stand: I've finally managed to admit to myself that It's Not a Cold Dark Place is, unfortunately, never going to be finished. It's honestly crushing to have to type this -- I find it difficult to express how much that story means to me. On the other hand, the mere thought of going back to it is utterly exhausting.
