Just a purple pony.
I don't want to depress everypony right away, so here are the good news:
I got a graphic tablet which I had already installed on my other laptop. Momentally, I'm working in Paint vulgaris and Paint.net.
Here's my best work from the usual paint:
The bad news? The contact on the motherboard sucks, so I can't turn it on.
Here are some useful tips for selecting photos for paintings.
The artworks created by skilled artists contain a plethora of emotions. The best part of the painting is the genuine artistic element added by the artist. We could use the oxymoron here – imperfectly perfect – but that would dishonor the creation.
I drew her, and she drew me. ^^ Whatcha guys think?
Because Ponygrad asked for it! And also because I'm lazy and putting off doing actual productive things.
See, over the last couple of months, I've been painting minis to pass the time. It's relaxing to sit down and do something with your hands, with a podcast or YouTube or some random netflix show in the background. (Sidenote, I'm almost out of Hannibal episodes, which means I'm gonna have to find something new for background noise).
I forgot to mention-- I've started trying to learn how to paint miniatures. Husband is much better at it than I, and I've included some of his works. These are (basically) the first miniatures I've ever painted. Not using them for any particular game, though I've wanted to paint some Dark Eldar for 40k. (images after the jump)
There should be a game where you remove paint from the Toads... like the OPPOSITE of Colour Splash
I can’t get it to cooperate.
It's just gone up: https://www.fimfiction.net/story/431590/octavias-painting
I swear down, this story has had its moments with me during the time that I was writing it, which I think was something around a few days away from becoming a solid week. I actually had a nightmare a day before I finished this story, and I'm likely to have a couple more every now and again, seeing as this story was inspired by a real-life haunted painting known as The Anguished Man.
Did you have to think in order to figure out the Spoonerism? Good. Then you’ll be ready for Bad Horse’s Fimfiction Survey. And as a reward once you are done, I’ve included a little humorous snippet out of the sequel to The One Who Got Away.
Dear Bronies and Pegasisters,
I went ahead and did something that up until now that I was unsure of doing. But I'm doing this as an experiment. I have posted every painting I've ever made to see if how people react to them. Including my first painting of Fluttershy that was meant as a Christmas present to my best friend.
I have been thinking of selling them, but for now, I'm just testing the waters as if were.
I hope that you may like them.
Well I'm up late tonight, and I start drawing on MS Paint randomly, and this is what I drew, not to bad if I don't say so myself. But please I want to here what you think, and be as brutal as you want.
unfortunately I cant upload it, but you can look at my profile pic to see it, or you can follow the link, to see the whole picture.
Took a lot of time and hard work, but I did it!
Well, what do you think?
Howdy folks!
Now it’s done, how’d you like the new story? Got a favourite moment or chapter?
Paint The Moon Red was a story that came today with the input of many authors in the Quills and Sofas Speedwriting Server in December 2020. I started with the core concept and much of the general things Nightmare gets up to with specific ponies was brainstormed together.
Simply put, other than a little last minute top to bottom editing (hint, hint, to the editing team) I’m ready to start publishing Drifting Down the Lazy River, except for the cover art. I had promised Pen Mightier first crack at it, but he’s been offline for several weeks and I haven’t gotten a response back. Since I have the artistic talent of a broken tree limb, I’m starting to explore my options. (No, it’s not like having Prom night sneak up on you without a date. Drifting doesn’t have a
Edited: I'm done transferring the story to Fimfiction right now, and after due consideration of the comments, I've decided to publish on Monday when the site traffic picks back up. So, 10:00 am CST, on 2/6, the twenty chapters start going up, one per day. Maybe two on Monday if I'm feeling generous, since Chapter 1 is a little short.
