I've started putting together my best games of 2022, and it'll be slightly different than years past.
Spoiler: I have not played Elden Ring. It will not be on my list.
BEST SOUNDTRACK
Self-explanatory.
BEST ONGOING GAME
A non-2022 game that received content updates in 2022.
BEST YESTERYEAR GAME
A non-2022 game that I didn't play until this year.
MOST ANTICIPATED GAME
A game coming out next year.
BEST GAMES OF THE YEAR
Which is odd because it is, for all intents and purposes, a remaster of one of the very first video games ever made for the playstation. I suppose that says something about modern gaming when a revisiting of the past glories is the most well-received.
But if I've been absent these last few days, it was for this and I recommend everyone give it a try if possible.
So Hogwarts Legacy got snubbed at The Game Awards, not getting nominated for anything, and apparently, some people are rather upset at that, because it is one of the best-selling games of 2023.
*ahem*
If you're not just acting outraged for clicks, please get a reality check.
I have played Hogwarts Legacy, along with nine other 2023 games so far, hoping to make it a total of thirteen before the year is out.
