A common piece of writing advice is that to become a better writer, one should read a lot. There is truth to this, of course, depending on what one reads. Welcome back to my reading journal.
Fobbit by David Abrams
I chose this book to read because my library’s automated recommendations compared it with Catch-22; a book which I count among my all-time favorites. The comparison is apt in some ways, but not in others.
As a person, I don't mind spoilers but I won't give you any.
But overall, in regards to the final Star Wars film...it looks quite fun actually.
I get why people don't like the new Star Wars films but I do feel those people do take it way too far.
Hence why I left the Star Wars group this week until they've been given a chance to simmer down after the new film.
I can see it getting...mixed reviews. But not in the same way Last Jedi did.
I announce this study ahead of time and its protocol so that nopony can claim that I manipulate P-Values. A little context:
I am vocal that Abrams care nothing about continuity. Just look at what he did to Star Trek; he made Stino (Star-Trek-In-Name-Only). I was vocal about not wanting to see Swino (Star-Wars-In-Name-Only). Several ponies pointed out that I should not bash a movie without seeing it. Since they have a point, I shall see it.
WARNING: THE FOLLOWING REVIEW CONTAINS WHAT MAY BE CONSIDERED SPOILERS FOR STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS. IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE FILM YET, AND DON'T WANT ANY OF IT SPOILED, PLEASE DON'T READ ANY FURTHER.
