Just post any sort of music you think is good for atmosphere in a horror fiction.
Even ironic music.
Especially ironic music.
Yeah, kind of like that.

When I was young, I moved to Eugene, Oregon. I was always a smart kid, and I already knew how to read and write (and had for possibly several years even at that point). Now, Eugene is kind of an odd town, and it had some charter schools there, namely language immersion schools - schools where you spend half the day speaking (and learning) a second language. At the time, they had a Japanese, a Spanish, and a French immersion school. I was somewhat torn between the Japanese and French schools,

Like the blog title said, I have great news!
waaaaiiiit for itttttt
I have pneumonia!
Yay!!!!!
Apparently I've had it for almost a week and a half, and my doctor doesn't want me to go to school until Wednesday, if then. Gotta love makeup work from the week before exams! :D
I tried a new hairstyle today! I did double buns, but the buns were half ponytails with the extra hair wrapped around it. I've been experimenting with shit like this for the past couple of days. Yesterday, I painted my nails similar to the ones in this video. I also gave myself cornrows.
Wow. A thing happened.
An important thing.
Holy shit.
Holy shit.
Look how fucking introspective I sound.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Just need to breathe here.
Favorable Alignment? My precious baby of a novel? It's done?
It's quite a surprise... If you look at the statistics, I pumped out 360k in a year, on this story alone, so it took a year to write this, eh? Not really.
Gather 'round followers. I can't remember the last time I've made one of these, so it must have been a considerable amount of time since I last made an actual update blog, I've watched too many Kalvin Garrah videos and lost track of time, or both. Anyway, I thought I should say a few things. This includes the status of Enemy of Mine and its update, some important confusion I thought I should clear up, and just general things. Find them all below the horse image.
I have so many ideas for new stories floating around my head at this point. The thing is, only one of them is a one-shot that I'd be able to pull off in a short time, while the rest would likely end up demanding Pony-Me levels of time and dedication to bring to life.
First off is that story idea I pitched about a magical (not Narnia) world under a couch. Yes, I'm actually considering writing that.
Hey, y'all. Just wanted to give a slight update on things.
Do you know that feeling when you know that you’re holding yourself back, know that you aren’t doing the things you most want to do, know that you’re spending your time on lesser things when you can be spending them on greater ones?
I do. I feel a strange sort of avoidance at times at delving into certain experiences. I would like to say it is fear of disappointment, but it isn’t; I don’t fear disappointment. I simply feel avoidant towards some things for no good reason.
The graphics rotating around the image are Gallifreyan from Doctor Who. There's an awesome 'site that has a Gallifreyan language translator. You type in what you want it to say and it spits it out in this beautiful, circular language. I threw it into Photoshop behind the image and animated the rotation.
I'd rather drink the hooch with my friend. If she comes, she'll have to drive home and there's no way I'm letting her have a drop of alcohol. She just took a nap so she may or may not come. I'm fine with that, though. Nothing's as bad as that time I threw a birthday party and nobody came. Yes, it actually happened. It also happened another time, but it wasn't a birthday party. I'm kind of used to this shit now so it's ok.

On the 9th days of Christmas, my true love gave to me... 9 dead bongo cats...
So, tomorrow, after seven years and some change, I am finally moving out of my parent's home and out of my adoptive home state of Louisiana.
I'm not a nerd shirt person, haven't been since I was like 15 and I've got all my Christmas shopping done. So naturally Discworld Emporium plonks this down in my inbox.

He admits to having $1200 in the bank just after the 20 minute mark. You can thank The Abyss for helping me out with this one.
PS: Oh and the context is that he's not going to spend it on rent but rather just for his own personal gains.
If the link above doesn't work, here's a Youtube one.

UPDATE 1:
Well it seems like the mods had enough of darf's bullshit.
I'm sure most of you saw the notification already, but I wrote a new fic for a contest entry, and I'm very proud of it! I'd love it if you gave it a read, especially considering that it's not your standard sci-fi/romance story. How many are told from the diary of a sprinkler system?
... and sorry about the cover image. I usually like to make them myself, but I was exhausted yesterday.
I know my existence on the site has been sporadic as fuck lately. For months I've been in lurk mode more than anything else, and this has been applying to a lot of my usual discord friend groups as well. I just wanted to let y'all know that I am (obviously) alive and that I haven't retired or quit my writing. However, a lot has gone on in my life and it is to blame for why all seems rather quiet on Ice Star's front. I'm not going to quit writing and I'd be glued to my keyboard (or at least the
