I have so many ideas for new stories floating around my head at this point. The thing is, only one of them is a one-shot that I'd be able to pull off in a short time, while the rest would likely end up demanding Pony-Me levels of time and dedication to bring to life.
First off is that story idea I pitched about a magical (not Narnia) world under a couch. Yes, I'm actually considering writing that.
Another idea I have is to write a story that serves as an allegory to how many times, at least for me, writing stories would suddenly lose its appeal, making me feel more like I'm mass-producing stories then actually trying to make something good. Ironic, isn't it?
Yet another one would be the one-shot idea: Spike is unwittingly replaced by a Roomba. If there's any story out of this list that I'm gonna write sometime soon, it'd be that.
One of the ideas I've had floating around since January would focus on endings. End of a journey, end of the story-type of stuff. I want to try and write something meaningful with this idea. Something along the lines of delivering a hopeful message to readers. Alternatively, the "end" discussed in the story could be the end of a universe, whether real or simply a story universe. It'd be a good practice in writing for someone who normally loses interest and cancels a story mid-way through instead of properly ending it.
Those are the main ones. I've got quite a few more listed on my userpage as free story titles. Some of the ones presented here aren't on that list, partially due to me not wanting to waste an idea on waiting for someone to pick it up, and partially because I just don't have any names for them yet.
Also, I really need to get Pony-Me wrapped up and finish the OC special for it. I want to start devoting more time to original fiction again.
Would this also mean a Roomba somewhere was replaced by Spike?

lol! Spike the Roomba - now there's some crackfic fuel.
From pure shock value, Roomba Spike draws me in the most.
However, for you, the one that I think would mean the most would be that allegory. If it's something you struggle with, you will write strongly about it. Though I question if it needs to be a fanfic.

Yes, I read the tags.
The allegory sounds intriguing!
