They were coming along agonizingly slowly until I found the proper angle for them. Like Rarity, they needed proper treatment that respected their characters and even let them shine. But regardless of whether I get it, Nightmare Night - Part 15 launches tonight at 8pm Eastern, as promised. It’s 5500 words long, has two major story twists, and details the emergence of the first true threat to Eclipse’s plans--Sorry, Starlight, but you really aren’t one at this point!

It currently stands at 8500 words and will likely be over 10k when all is said and done. For that reason, I’m considering splitting it into two parts to give the climactic third section its own chapter and focus, same as I did for the Blossomforth/Cloud Kicker scene. We’ll see what my prereaders say on that score. If so, I’d simply release the two halves a couple days apart, and don’t worry; the second section has some sexytimes of its own!

In the author's notes at the end of the chapter, I asked if folks were interested in seeing what happens to the CMC, which may be too close to foalcon for some readers. I don't personally consider it as such because they're adolescents by now and no stranger to sex in this story, but they are still quite underage, which remains a no-no for some.
