Remember how I said changes would go live with the next chapter? Yeah, me too. I did the minor things today, so all the chapters before “This Is Fine” are done and live. I’ll do the remaining chapters tomorrow, updating them as I go. I realized there’s no point in holding them until the next chapter comes out.
There’s also no real point to this post since the changes were so minor, but fuck you.
There's been some talk of a bookstore at Bronycon. A number of authors have already committed. It's an exciting idea, but practically speaking, I've been on the fence as to whether I might actually make a Horizon publication happen, for a few (mostly logistical) reasons.
… Let's just say for the moment that there are external forces conspiring to push me off the fence in the publication direction.

I want to try writing some miniature parodies, that are like maybe 100 to 500 words or so and put a bunch of them together in a single compilation, since I have struggled to write things that are at least a thousand words lately. How these usually work, with occasional exceptions, is that I don't read the story I'm parodying itself (other than maybe the first chapter sometimes), but rather only some or all of the comments on it and any reviews it's gotten from people like present perfect or
I should probably write something commemorating this momentous occasion, but despite only a few months passing since I published it, I can remember literally nothing about the writing process, or about what was going through my head as I wrote it. So, if you're coming here for some kind of insightful peek behind the curtain, you're going to be disappointed. If you're hoping for a victory lap, then you will also be disappointed.
Annnd Act 2 officially finished! Honestly, I'm so pleased I've made it this far. I've never thought I'd actually get around to putting these ideas down on paper (well, computer screen, I guess) so not only getting to this point, but looking further ahead and thinking to myself, 'yeah, I can totally get there in due time' is so invigorating.

I have two plushies (pictures below), actually! And a whole lot of other little bits and bobs that I honestly didn't think I would ever be able to obtain.
So, Chapter One of Pound and Pumpkin Save Sugarcube Corner is gonna go live tomorrow. I've been working on it constantly over the past week, and at time of writing, it's almost done, with only a couple more paragraphs to go. Hopefully, it's good - I've got some neat little shenanigans lined up for the twins to get into.
